Kriti Sanon is a model-turned-actress who made her first break in cinema through a Telugu film. It was in the year 2014; she signed for a Telugu film “Nenokkadine’’ where she played the role of Sameera. In 2002, Filmfare presented Asha with a Lifetime Achievement award for her brilliant acting performances in over 90 films. She has received over 30 awards spanning over the 40 years of service in Indian cinema. 

She now focuses on her dance academy, Kara Bhavan, and has also made a hospital after her own name in Mumbai.

She is the sister of Bollywood actor, Sharman Joshi. They have a daughter. His brother, Rohit Roy is likewise an extremely famous face among TV industry and Bollywood.
