Cyrus Broacha is an Indian actor, anchor, comedian, columnist, author, podcaster and theater personality. He is best known for the show “Bakra” (on MTV) and “The Week That Wasn’t” (on CNN-IBN). Kunal Vijaykar, his close friend, directed and co-wrote the latter show. He was born on 7 August 1971. His father is Parsi and his mother, Catholic. He did his schooling from Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, India. He completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. He took a course in acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York.

2. Cyrus Sahukar

Cyrus Sahukar was born to Behram Sahukar, a colonel in the Indian Army and Nimeran Sahukar, a Punjabi writer in Army camp at Mhow, Indore on August 6, 1980. he did his schooling  form St. Columbia School Delhi and started acting in plays at the age of six. He was also a good singer and sang for his school band. He was part of Senior Literacy Mission Programme in his school which performed one act plays and educational skits for prisoners in Tihar Jail. During this period, he also performed in a play by Barry John 'Haroun and the sea of stories' which was written by Salman Rushdie. At the age of 15 years, he performed in a musical show' Thank you for the music' directed by Stephen Marrazzi.


Then he started doing jingles and voice over professionally and Joined Roshan Abbas. His first jingle for Harpic was well received in the circuits. At 16, he hosted a radio show called 'Radio rampage' in Delhi. At the same time, he also acted in some professional plays directed by Roshan Abbas. In 1998, he won the MTV VJ hunt with Mini Mathur and Asif Seth and was one of the youngest persons working for MTV. He relocated to Mumbai and started doing spoofs on very famous shows, films and personalities. Some of his most famous spoofs are on Siddhu, which he renamed as 'Piddhu the Great' and on the show 'Rendezvous with Simi Grewal' was renamed by him as 'Semi Girebaal'. The shows were extremely popular and Cyrus established himself as a spoof artist. He is presently doing SAB TV game show Sab Jeeto Sab Khelo.
