Thapki Pyar Ki 2 is a sequel to the first season of Thapki Pyar Ki. Vaani or Thapki is a simple girl who has a melodious voice. However, she has one problem, whenever she gets nervous, she stammers. Thapki considers Veena Devi to be her role model. She takes care of everyone around her. Be it the priest of the temple, children, or the electrician. Thapki is a talented girl. She gets a chance to sing at the Mata Ji’s darbar. But she becomes nervous and begins to stammers. People make fun of her. Thapki cries and says sorry and leaves from there.
Her mother, Rukmani, also was a good singer. But she loses her voice when her husband Mukul left. Mukul with her second daughter Hansika leaves separately. Hansika is a selfish girl. She is a friend of Purab Singhania. Purab is the son of Veena Devi. When Veena Devi her as the voice of Thapki, she becomes mesmerized and decides to make her daughter-in-law. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Purab and Thapki get married.
But when Veena Devi knows about her stammering problem, she wants to throw Thapki out of the house. But Purab promises Rukmani that he will fulfill the dream of Thapki and brings her back home, much to the disappointment of her mother. What will Thapki do? How will she save herself from the evil tactics of Veena Devi and Hansika? Forms the crux
