1. Anju Mahendru

Anju Mahendru is an Indian actress, born on January 11, 1946 in Dehradun. She became popular because of her past relationship with actor, Rajesh Khanna. Anju is Rajesh’s great love, and it was unknown to others that Anju took care of Rajesh until the day he dies. She was also temporarily engaged to Gary Sobers, a former cricket player. Anju was also a model when she was 13 years old. The Indian Urdu poet and lyricist, Kaifi Azmi discovered her talent and introduced her to Hindi film director, Basu Bhattacharya. In 1996, she was debuted in the film, Uski Kahani by Basu and this film is also Basu’s first directorial attempt. Anju has been part of films like the 1967 Hindi film, Jewel thief as Neena, Bhandhan in 1969 as Sonia Sharma and the 1970’s, Dastak. That time, Anju has never been a leading lady, so she moved to other character roles.
In 1990, Anju made her comeback by doing several TV series. She appeared on the Hindi TV drama series, Hamari Betiyon Ka Vivaah as the antagonist, Nupur Malhorta on Zee TV. She was also in the soap, Geet on STAR One as Savitri Devi Khuranna. She played the role of Beeji in the soap, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.
Anju was also in the films: The Dirty Picture, I hate Luv Storys, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Page 3, Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse, Satta and a lot more. She also did TV serials like: Sukanya, Swabhimaan, among many others.

Gauri Karnik is an Indian television and movie actress who is known for her role in the movie Sur for which she won the Star Screen Award Most Promising New Comer in the year 2003.


Gauri Karnik is an Indian actress who has worked for movies in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, and Kannada languages. She has also worked for Hindi television industry. She started her career as an actress with the role of Ananya which she played for the television serial Sukanya which was aired in the year 1998. Later on, she also appeared in many episodes of Rishtey – The Love Stories such as Khel Khel Mein. This serial was aired on Zee TV during the years 1999-2001. Because of her acting skills and fame for performing the role of Ananya in the serial Sukanya, she got the role of female protagonist in the movie Sur which was released in the year 2002. Her co-star in the movie was Lucky Ali while she played the role of Tina Marie D’Silva. She also played the role of Divya in another television serial Hum Jo Keh Na Paaye.


She won the Star Screen Award for Most Promising New Comer in the year 2003 for her protagonist role in the movie Sur. She also acted for a Bengali movie Grohon: The Eclipse which was released in the year 2009. During the same year, she also appeared in the lead role of a Kannada movie Karanji.

4. Sushmita Daan

Starting her career in 1997 Sushmita Daan became one of the leading figures of the Indian Entertainment Industry. She is finicky in selecting projects for herself and that's the reason why she had some long breaks before appearing again on the television screen.


Sushmita was casted in a popular TV series, named Saans (1998 - 1999), which aired on Star Plus. The story spins around a happy wedded couple, having two young children, who experience some troublesome times as spouse of the lead character experiences passionate feelings for an alternate lady. The TV show gave a boost to her career, and soon after this serial she was casted in many TV shows, such as, Kuch Pal Saath Tumhara (In June 27, 2003), aired on Sahara ONE, then she got a huge fan following after she was casted in a popular criminal investigation TV series, CID, aired on Sony Entertainment Television, as Inspector Jasmine.


Nowadays Sushmita is working in a TV serial named Chotti Bahu, circulated on Zee TV. In the TV show she assumes the part of a widow, family's second bahu, who has 2 youngsters. The show concentrates on the challenges she and her kids face, because of the unlucky deficiency of her spouse.


The motivation behind why fans love her, is a result of her enchanting identity. She can adjust to any character she is given and demonstrate the best of her aptitudes when she performs. Despite the fact that her acting vocation has up's and down's, and she took some long breaks before seeming again in the business yet she figured out how to hold her place and showed up in some new TV shows.

5. Shobha Devi

Shobha Devi is an Indian-origin producer. In 2020, she produced a movie called Kaanchii Life in a Slough. Dedipya Joshii directed the film, and Kailash Detha, Vijayadan Detha, and Dedipya Joshii wrote the storyline for the film. Shobha Devi and Dedipya Joshii produced the movie. And it starred Sanjay Mishra, Shikha Malhotra, Nareshpal Singh Chauhan, Lalit Parimoo, Monika Choudhary, and Shobha Devi. Jogendra Panda managed the cinematography department, and Kisalroy Roy, Shivang Upadhyay, and Nishant Kamal Vyas managed the music department.

6. Nakul Vaid

Nakul Vaid is a film actor from India. He started his journey in acting with a small role in the Bollywood drama film, Baghban and bagged the role of Rahul. In year 2002, he also acted in films like Samvedna and Vadh. He later appeared in the Hindi crime film, Ab Tak Chhappan under the direction of Shimit Amin which stars Nana Patekar in 2004. The two worked together again in the Hindi film, Yatra in 2006. Hoever, this film did not make a weekend at the box office. He was also seen in the film, ‘With Love Tumhara’ opposite with Preeti Jhangiani. Nakul was also part of the Hindi sports drama film, ‘Chak De! India’ under the direction of Shimit Amin again. The film made it to the box office and he played the role of Rakesh.

 

In 2008, Nakul was part of the Bollywood comedy film, ‘Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaa?’ which was produced by Surendra Bhatia. But this film received negative responses upon the release. In 2009, he played his first main lead role as Mohandas in the Hindi drama film, Mohandas which is based on the story of Uday Prakash. His character portrays the life of a poor villager who studies well in spite of his economic issues. Subsequently, Nakul became part of the films Happi and The Lunchbox from which he played as Rajeev, opposite with Nimrat Kaur.

 

In 2012, he was roped in to do a role in the film, Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare under the production of the National Film Development Corporation of India. The film is in Assamese and Hindi languages which stars Sanjay Suri and Bidita Bag. Nakul played as Jyotiraj, the brother of Bidita’s character. He was also seen in the Indo-Chinese film, The Desire by R. Sarath. He played a prominent role in this film along with Jaya Prada, Sheetal Menon, Vikram Gokhale and more.

 

Besides doing films, he also acted in Sony TV’s youth drama show, Challenge and in the crime series, Rihaee from the same channel. Prior to this, he was also seen in the 1998 series, Sukanya. 


Nakul also worked as an Assistant Director while he was in class 12 in the film, Raja. But he said he only did it so he can familiarize himself to the film industry functions. Nakul loves to play football and cricket so he always wanted to do a sports film. He also likes to perform as a young dude who will romance Bollywood actresses.
