Born on 14th June, 1960, Shekhar Suman is a well known face of television and Bollywood industry. He is from Patna, Bihar. He began his Bollywood career with the film “Utsav”. However, even after featuring in more than 25-30 films, he didn’t get that desired success. He appeared in movies like Chor Machaye Shor, Tridev, Sansar and the most recently in his directed movie Heartless.

Having not so successful career in Bollywood industry, he turned his way to the television industry. He has featured in a number of TV series and reality shows, some of them being Vilayati Bahu, Andaz, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Movers and Shakers, etc. He, alongside cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu judged the highly adored show of Star One- “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” for three consecutive seasons.
