Kanwarjit Paintal, started his career with comic roles and in a very short span of time he became an indispensable actor for successful films. Kanwarjit Paintal also called Paintal, belongs to a Sikh family. In showbiz he extensively worked hard and was awarded two ‘Filmfare Awards’ for “Best Performance” in Comic Role.
Kanwarjit Paintal was born in Amritsar, Punjab in a talented Sikh family and was raised in Delhi by family members. 2. Atma Ram
Atma Ram was a Hindi Film and Theatre Director. He was born on 21 August 1930 in Kolkata. He was from a Konkani Hindu family. He studied at the University of Bombay. He had three brothers. He was the younger brother of famous filmmaker Guru Dutt. In 1948, he worked as a clerk with the Socialist Party. He also worked as a secretary of the Press Worker’s Union. In 1958, he moved to London and directed the films, produced by Stuart Legg and Arthur Elton for the Shell Film Unit.
