It is a Hindi comic daily soap that aired Monday to Friday in the evenings on Star Plus TV. The series ran its hiatus from 2003 and ended with a series finale in 2004. Approximate run time of the series varies from 20 to 22 minutes of screen time per episode with each being 30 minutes long. It is the story of Ravi, whose first wife Pooja dies within the first year of their marriage. His family forces him to think of marriage again. So he remarries for the second time. This union results in a happy family. Pooja gives birth to a beautiful son too. They have ten wonderful years together living very happily. Trouble arises in their paradise when a magician's trick goes wrong at the child's birthday party.

He mistook a spell and summonsed the spirit of Ravi's first wife. To the horror of the family, the first consort's soul decides to stay in the same house as all of them. The ghost first causes problems for the family. She tries to ruin their sleep, scare them in their sleep, create misunderstandings, but then ultimately befriends all of them and is sorry for all the mischief she caused. The spirit even becomes a mother-like figure to the boy. The boy gets two mothers and a beautiful family to live together with, in the end. There are quite some running gags. They are very hilarious and laced with clean humor.

The neighbors enjoy the scenes between the family and the ghost's antics. The confusion adds to the fun. Though the actors overact in their scenes, the humor is superb. You can forgive them for the overacting because the plot balances everything else. The show enjoyed an excellent run with people accepting the comic and horror amalgam genre. The family drama and humor were great, which led to an overall watched by many final episodes.
