As per their taste, the “TV Ke Uss Paar” was launched on “Zindagi Channel.” This serial centers around the Indian viewer’s obsession with daily soaps. Nriti portrayed the role of Ananya, an Icchadhari Nagin, in the show. She has unmatched powers with a changed attitude and behavior throughout the series. She develops an aggressive attitude towards the male lead after acquiring superpowers at 25 years of age.

Here, she played the role of Aarti. Right after that, she also appeared as Asmita in the TV-show of Bindas TV; “Yeh hain Aashiqui”.

In an interview, Shruti mentioned that she wanted to explore her career as an actor and it was due to this reason, why she left the serial ‘Pavitra Rishtaa’. She further added about her obsession of shopping impulsively.

Currently, Shruti is seen portraying the role of Raadha in ‘Doli Armaano Ki’.

Mann Kapoor was an Actor, Artist, and fashion model. Pyaasa, Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam, Kaagaz ke Phool and Chaudvin Ka Chand were some of his memorable films. In fact, Kaagaz ke Phool and Pyaasa are considered as best films of all time by a leading magazine (Kaagaz Ke Phool was a flop and Guru Dutt who worked very hard for it gave up direction ever since). Guru Dutt is included in the list of all-time best film directors. Also, CNN credited him as one of the top 25 Asian actors during the year 2010. 

Artistic films are Guru Dutt’s forte. Most of the works that he did during the later stages had a passionate fan base. When his films are released again in theaters, they receive good response even in foreign countries. 

Since Guru Dutt was influenced by the Bengali culture, he added the surname Dutt. Though Bengali is not his mother tongue, he became fluent in it. Guru Dutt started his career as a telephone operator, but he was not interested in the same. Later he worked under a contract with Prabhat Film Company and Studio in Pune and this is where, he got the life-long friendship of Dev Anand and Rehman. 

Guru Dutt started his acting career in a minute role in the film Chand (1944) where he enacted the role of Shri Krishna. Later he worked as assistant director and choreographer in few films. When Guru Dutt was unemployed for some time he developed a passion for writing and wrote “Pyaasa”. 

The film “Baazi” which starred Dev Anand and directed by Guru Dutt was a hit and considered to be a trend setter for forthcoming crime movies. Dutt took up acting with the film Baaz in which he acted as well as directed. But this film was an average grosser and Guru Dutt came to limelight only with the film Aar-Paar in 1954. After quitting direction Dutt didn’t forsake production and acting. 

Gurudutt may have worked only in 50 films, but his films are still viewed with regard for their artistic flavor. There is no doubt that Guru Dutt is a genius, but his death is indeed a tragedy since he reportedly died of overdose of pills, at the age of 39. Though Guru Dutt died very early, he would always be considered as one of the greatest icons of Indian cinema.

Girish Jain is an Indian television actor and director who popularly appeared as Dr. Jaswant Rai Singhania, the husband of Abha (played by Silky Khanna) who had an extra marital affair to other woman in the daily soap, Hitler Didi on Zee TV. He also earned fame after bagging a negative role in the popular drama series, Zindgi Ka Har Rang… Gulaal on Star Plus.

He was born in Bangalore, Karnataka and raised up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He studied Bachelor of Commerce during college and he speaks English, Urdu, Marathi, Hindi, Rajastani and Gujarati. Girish developed his passion for acting when he attended Mithibai College in Mumbai. His persistent hard work was paid off after he joined theatre in college and trained to become a good actor. After he finished college, he directed several plays and he took various acting workshops to help fresh talent. Later, he joined the Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA); one of the most oldest and reputable theatre group in India. He also learnt television and film directing so he can be able to understand the technical features of the field. After working as an assistant director for almost a year, he got his break in television through one of the most popular Zee TV series, Hip Hip Hurray, where he played the role of Avinash.

In 2005, he acted as the friend of Swetha (played by Mouli Ganguly) in the drama soap, Kutumb on Sony Entertainment Television. He also appeared in the thriller-horror series, ‘Ssshhh…Koi Hai’ on Star Plus. Girish was also part of the Hindi series, Ayushmaan. He bagged the role of Avi in the short-lived television serial, Saath Rahega Always on Sahara One. In 2006, he acted in Hermant Prabhu’s ‘Sati…Satya Ki Shakti’ which was also aired on Sahara One and Saathii Re on Star One. In 2007, he appeared in the Hindi series, Main Aisi Kyunn Honn. He was also starred in the ‘Haunted Fort’ episode of Zee TV’s Fear Files in 2013, along with Mohit Sharma and Eshu Gambhir. Recently, he played as a band manager in the television courtroom drama series, Adaalat on Sony TV together with Vishal Thakkar. The actor also appeared in an episode of the drama documentary series, Bhoot Aya.

Besides television, he was also cast as Guppi in the 2007 Bollywood action film, Kaafila which stars Sunny Deol.
