Sumit Kumar is an Indian director who has directed several Bollywood movies. Besides being an amazing director, Sumit has also worked as a producer, additional crew member, production manager, and soundtrack artist. Sumit started his career in 1999 as an assistant director in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. In 2001 he got a special thankful note for his work in the film The Warrior. In 2002 he was the chief assistant director of the film Desh Devi. In the same year, Sumit worked in the short film The Sheep Thief. In 2004 he worked as a post-production supervisor in the film, The King of Bollywood.

He is also working as a writer with The Viral Fever. Apart from being an actor, he is also a writer who has a good sense of humor. He also received an award for the best web series, which he had scripted.
