Chandrayee Ghosh is an Indian model and actress who has worked in several Bengali films and serials. She was born in Kolkata into a Bengali family. She made her debut in the industry with Mohul Bener Sereng, a movie by Sakhar Das. She won the BFJA Award in the category of Most Promising Actress for this movie in 2005. She later worked in movies like Tistain (2005), Manush Bhut and Dosarin (2006) and Kaalin (2007). She began as a director in 2008 with her independent movie 'Sama'. The story in the film dwells on homosexuality. She later said that it was based on her own life. The music in the movie was given by a popular Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee. She has acted in many television shows such as Mohona, Uttaron, Behula.
