Neengalum Samaikalam is a cooking-based show in the Tamil language that is being aired on Jaya TV owned by J Jayalalitha. The show, Neengalum Samaikalam was first launched in the year 2015. The first episode of the show was aired on 3rd September 2015. The show had a total of 79 episodes during its tenure. The last episode was aired on 8th June 2017. The show was aired on every Thursday at 6:00 p.m. IST. Each episode lasts for about thirty minutes. Neengalum Samaikalam is a cookery show in the plethora of various cookery shows along the country. The show has different chefs from different big hotels of the state cooking new and innovative food and sharing the recipes with the audience. The show features a set of chefs from the top restaurants in the state of Tamil Nadu who keep coming to the show in turns and showing many delicious recipes to the audience.

Each episode shows two recipes of either the starters’ category or the main course category or the dessert category. The show brings all kind of foods from different state cuisines and international cuisines. But the show mainly focuses on the food of the South Indian origin.
