Plot

Shankar Das Shankar Das is an actor from India. He was born in >> Read More... seeks refuge from false persecution. With the help of his friends, he escapes from his hometown in Kerala to Mumbai. After 16 years, when he returns, he must not only address his past but also solve the drinking water problem in his hometown.

Star Performances

The ensemble cast is the star highlight of this film. Each of the actors, including Sooraj Sun’s performance as Shankar Das is phenomenal.

The direction by Shajoon Kariyal is also top-notch, and the music By Saajan Madhav only adds to the charm of the film.

How about a crime thriller, that is equally engaging as a family drama? Not heard of before, right? Well, Dr. Vijay Shanker Menon [who has also produced this film] teamed up with Shajoon Kariyal to make this novel idea a reality. Truth be told, he has excelled in this initiative with flying colors!

The film offers a beautiful view of both the quaint life in the hilly towns of Kerala, and the glitz and glamor of Mumbai. The storyline is equally impressive, making up for an interesting thriller. For those, who were craving for a good thriller, ‘Mrudhu Bhave Dhruda Kruthye’ may just be what you are looking for.

Both the director, as well as the cinematographer have done a phenomenal job. The twists and turns are skilfully portrayed, and so were the performances. Yes, the film could have been a bit crisper in terms of editing. However, focusing too much on that would be nitpicking.
