In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Radhika Pandit another example of a home grown actress making it big in Kannada television and film industry. The pretty actress was born on March 7th 1984 in Bangalore. She has completed her education from Mount Carmel College.

Kalyani Raju is a Kannada film industry actress and model. She has worked in movies like Endendigu in 2015 and Jayammana Maga in 2013. Her latest released movie is Fortuner (in 2019). He had also worked as a playwright and director. He has performed in more than 4200 stage plays. He has started over 150 theater training courses based on life skills. From 1996 to 2007, he wrote and directed over 65 street dramas and 10 stage performances. He made a film titled Hashim Thi. He hired 500 actors and shot at the Al-Ameen School building.

Filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer D Satya Prakash (Kannada) has won national awards for his work in these areas. V. Harikrishna is an Indian movie background score and soundtrack author, playback vocalist and also a movie producer. He has primarily produced background score for many Kannada movies. After his job as a software engineer and associate music artist, he made his entrance as a free music director in the movie Jothe Jotheyali, which starred the famous actor Darshan and was released in the year 2006. From that point onwards, he has been making music for many of Darshan's movies.

Sonu Nigam is a renowned Bollywood singer and composer. He was born on July 30, 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana. Hailing from a musical background, both his parents are singers. He is the son of singer Agam Kumar Nigam. The first performance he gave was at the tender age of 3 when he performed the song Kya Hua Tera Wada by Mohammed Rafi. Besides singing Hindi songs he has recorded songs in Kannada, Assamese, Oriya, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Nepali and Marathi languages. In his small acting career he has acted in films like Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaani, Love In Nepal and Kaash Aap Humaare Hote. Nigam is married to Madhurima and also had a son named Neevan.

Deepu S. Kumar is a South Indian film editor who works in the Kannada film industry. He has worked with Kannada directors like- ‘Duniya Soori’, ‘Harsha’, ‘Yograj Bhat’ and many others in movies like ‘Jackie’, ‘Bahaddur’, ‘Vajrakaya’ and many others. Deepu married Sudha Deepu on 19th August 2007 with whom he has two children. They live in Bangalore. Deepu made his film debut as a film editor with the movie ‘Mungaru Male’ written and directed by Yograj Bhat. The film hit the screens on 29th December 2006. He also worked in Bhat’s ‘Dana Kayonu’ in 2016. Deepu worked under director Duniya Soori in the film ‘Duniya’. The movie hit the screens on 23rd February 2007 and won three awards.

Sudheera Venkatesh is an Indian Film public relations officer. He commenced his journey in the year 1985. Having done 1200+ films, Sudheera boasts 35 years of experience as a Public Relations Officer, mirroring all his successes. He is the founder of Raghvendra Chitravani. The all-time best movies, “Mungaru Male” and “Dhuniya” got him recognition for his work. He is continuing Sri Raghavendra Chitravani’s legacy. A few big names such as “Hombale films”; “Rockline Productions”; “Pushkar Films”; “And SV Productions” are permanent clients. With Fluency in 5 Indian languages, Sudheera Venkatesh has worked on assignments beyond Karnataka in his era. He was born in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. At the age of two, their family moved to Hyderabad, so he was grown up in Hyderabad.

He learnt Kathak (Indian classical dance) while he was studying 3rd class. Afterwards he learnt Bangra (dance originating from the Punjab region) extensively for eight years. He was even familiar with mime (imitation without use of speech) and gave many performances. He used to participate in lot of cultural activities mainly dance competitions.

He completed his engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Later on he went to USA and pursued Masters in Computers. He even joined in a job at Rediff. He made his debut in 2005 through a film named ‘Vennela’, in which he played a role of Syed, a Muslim youth. His first project was a big hit and helped him getting many more chances. He moved to Hyderabad and started his acting career. He was offered one of the main roles in ‘Nuvve’ by Gopichand (Telugu film director). He got more opportunities in big movies like Bommarillu, Sainikudu and Rakhi. He was presently busy in Tollywood acting in supporting roles.

He also acted in a TV serial named “Mogalirekulu” which was aired on Gemini TV. Mogalirekulu is an Indian soap opera created and written by Manjula Naidu and Bindi Naidu (sister’s leading the TV serial industry as writers, directors and producers). It was started on February 18, 2008 and ended on May 24, 2013.

Ravi Varma is an actor who has been working in the Telugu film industry as a supporting actor and side character for a  long time. Born in Andhra Pradesh in a very affluent family, Ravi had hopes of getting into the film industry since his early days in school, where he was inspired by the cinema. He was raised in Hyderabad from where he completed his graduation in engineering. After his graduation, he moved to New York City to complete his post-graduation and he later got a job in NYC itself. During his time in New York, Ravi decided to go ahead and attend a few acting classes and he started enjoying acting a lot and decided to take a risk and quit his job and then he moved back to India.

The two times national award winning actor for supporting roles Dattanna alias HG Dattatreya was working in Air Force, but was interested in acting. In many Kannada films, the central plot revolved around him, therefore, giving a greater satisfaction to this actor, who had underplayed his role as per the script always. HG Dattatreya had excelled in many movies, especially in Munnudi (2000) and Bharath Stores (2012) that fetched him a national award. For his effortless and natural performance of a small time grocery retailer in Kannada film Bharath Store, he was given a special jury award. Most of the actors in the tinsel town are not comfortable doing minor roles, but this actor has no qualms about it. He also impressed the Telugu audience with his performance in Thila Danam. His acting wooed audiences with brilliant performance in Kempe Gowda (2011). Many would have raised eyebrows at the decision of Dattanna to move towards tinsel town, but so far, he received applauds for his acting in many films. Known for his magnificent acting prowess in Kannada cinema, he has bagged many State film awards too and won an International award. In the years that followed after his journey from theater to Kannada screen, the actor has carved a niche for himself. 

Besides grabbing the National Awards twice in 2003 and 2012, Dattareya had received the Best Actor Award in International Film Festival in Fiji in 2013. Dattareya’s performance in Neer Dose with “Jaggesh,” "Haripriya" and Suman Ranganathan is unforgettable. In 2017, he played in Srinivasa Kalyana, “Jilebi,” a comedy horror thriller, Prathima, “Raajakumara,” Tab, Kempirve and Hombanna. In 2018, he played in more than half a dozen films including a web series titled Joshelay. 2019 started with success for Dattareya through Jaggesh movie Premier Padmini. He played in the high budgeted multi-starrer Bollywood film, Mission Mangal with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Sonakshi Sinha, directed by Jagan Shakti.
