Plot

Bhaskar got a contract to build a road in a small town in Arunachal Pradesh. Bhaskar went to Arunachal Pradesh with his cousin Janardhan. There they meet Panda and Jomin. They discuss building the road in the middle of the forest. Jomin agrees with the contract, but Panda opposes it. He tells them that they can make the road at the boundaries of the woods. If they did this, villagers would agree, and there will be no harm to wild animals. But Bhaskar tells him that it will require more investment. So they plan to build the road in the middle of the woods. One day, Bhaskar, Janardhan, and Jomin were driving at night. They had an accident, and their car got crashed. They hear the woof of a werewolf, and they get scared. They all got separated. A werewolf started chasing Bhaskar. He tries to kill Bhaskar, but he can only bite his butt. The next day, Bhaskar feels unusual senses. It is like he can hear from far away, and he smells unpleasant smell into pleasant smell, and pleasant smell things into unpleasant ones. What happens to Bhaskar? Why is he feeling this type of sense? Will he be able to complete his contract? The rest of the film speaks about this.

Star Performance

Varun Dhawan, as the lead actor, was superb. His look was unique. His transformation into a werewolf was fantastic. Netizens will love his role. Kriti Sanon was good. Her appearance as a veterinarian doctor was astonishing. But her character becomes suspenseful at the end of the film. Abhishek Banerjee was awesome. His role in the movie made this film comedy. Notable appearances of Rajkumar Rao and Aparshakti Khurana made the end of the film suspenseful and funny, both at the same time. Sharad Kelkar, Deepak Dobriyal, and Paalin Kabak had a significant role in the film. All the other actors were good.

Analysis

The film speaks about various problems that ordinary people never take into consideration. The importance of forests and eastern Indians is shown in the film. The film has twists and suspense, which makes the movie enjoyable. The film had great music and songs, especially the Mowgli song, which made the film funny.  The remarkable appearance of Shraddha Kapoor in the music video was a great idea. The song was enjoyable to watch. Comedy scenes or dialogues are added to create a funny movie. CGI was excellent more than expected. A real glimpse of Arunachal Pradesh is displayed in the film. The beauty of nature is shown correctly in the movie. Werewolf part was CGI, apart from it everything was real.

Verdict

For the fans of Varun Dhawan, this new look is fantastic. The film has so much suspense. Fans of horror or comedy will like this film. This film is somewhat connected to the 2018 film Stree and the 2021 film Roohi. So it will be better to watch Stree and Roohi before watching Bhediya. This movie is the most fantastic movie that Bollywood has ever created.
