As per reviews Ranbir Kapoor has been given good rating for his performance. One will not be surprised if Ranbir gets an award for his outstanding performance as the anguished young guy in this film. Anushka Sharma is one spontaneous actress and she has come out with another noteworthy performance. Credit should also go the make-up department for making her look amazing in the movie. Pritam’s music is soothing and is already topping the charts. And I also happened to listen to a couple of songs including the title track and Bulleya and I second the critics’ review.
The production values are outstanding.
Editing of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is par excellence.
The dialogues are awesome.

What’s not there?

The relationship between Fawad Khan and Anushka Sharma could have been explored better.
Ranbir's unyielding pursuit of Anushka may test one's patience sometimes.
