Plot

Nancy is the family head of the Greens. She is a mother of four and each child is suffering with their problems. Her son, Maxwell seems to be a drug addict. Her daughter Elisa is disconnected from her family, Lily suffers from bipolar disease, and Madeline is ordinary, at least to our knowledge. When Maxwell goes missing, Nancy is lost and doesn’t know how to deal with it. Will she find Maxwell? Will the kids fight their problems?

Star Performance

The entire cast did a phenomenal performance. They handled such sensitive topics with ease. Drug addiction, sexual assault, homosexuality, bipolar disease, people generally hide these issues because, in the film, they made us realize that together with the help of family, you can get past these.

Analysis

The movie does not show imaginary happy families instead, we see typical dysfunctional families, which we see in today’s world. We also see how mental health and child trauma are a big concern, and people generally overlook them. The background music also sets a good mood for the movie.

What’s There?

• The dialogue delivery is simply superb. They do not yell, but they deliver very intense dialogues with correct emotions.

• The acting is out of the world.

What’s Not There?

• Slow-paced film.

• Complex storyline. There are a lot of things going on at the same time.

Verdict

A must-watch movie for everyone. You will not regret watching this.
