Meera Krishnan… she is the beautiful Tamil actress, who started her career as a program announcer in Doordarshan. Then she turned into a news reader on DD. After the satellite channel Sun TV entered the media, Meera joined there as a news reader. She is popular for her excellent pronunciations and the right interpretations. After few years, she started to act in TV serials and then she was called upon by the popular directors to act in the cinema. Meera was very much interested in music and she completed her M.A in Music from the Madras University. Her family is a musical family and Meera has also an excellent talent in vocal and Veena. She is married to her long time friend Krishna, who is a musician too. He is a guitarist. Meera’s debut in the acting field started with a short film by Sunder K. Vijayan. Kuppatthu Sasthrigal was her first serial and she paired Jaishankar, the veteran actor. She has acted in nearly fifty films and 2 dozens of serials. She is blessed with two kids, a daughter named Akshaya and a son named Adithya. She has acted in the popular movies like Vaseegara, Vasool Raja MBBS, Idhaya Thirudan, Siruthai, Saguni, Naiyandi, Velai Illa Pattadhari and Aranmanai.
