Pushpavalli made her debut with Sampoorna Ramayana (1936). She is an actress known for movies like Choodamani, Vara Vikrayam, Mohini Bhasmasura and Satyabhama, a Telugu movie. Apart from these, her work includes the lead role she played in Miss Malini (1947) whose story was adapted from Mr. Sampath, an R.K. Narayan’s novel.
