L I Kannan

L I Kannan is a South Indian film director and visual effects coordinator. He has worked in the Tamil movie industry. This project was firstinitiated in the year 2010 and is said to release in 2019 due to various obstacles and circumstances. It was produced by S A Parthi and S S Vasan under the banner called SilverLine Factory L I Kannan was born in the 1st of January in the year 1976. He was born in Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India and is currently living and working there since.

L I Kannan studied his schooling in Government High School in Aranthangi in Tamil Nadu, India. He was the project manager in the Indian Artists group for a few years. It was only after this work that he entered the film industry as a director in the Tamil field. L I Kannan was first appointed as the film director for the movie Karikalan. This movie was in production from the year 2010. However, in the year 2012, due to unforeseen reasons, L I Kannan was removed from the project, unfortunately. He got replaced by Gandhi Krishna, also a south Indian director who has worked as a director for a couple of films including Engineer, Nila Kaalam, Chellame, and Ananda Thandavam.

When inquiring about the reasons for this sudden replacement, some sources are pointing out that L I Kannan delayed taking shoots, and this is the cause that made the production house SilverLine Factory make such drastic changes. Also, the style of direction by L I Kannan was said to be contradicting the original visions of the movie by the production company. L I Kannan was in troubled waters as many complaints arose that he was canning scenes in the film with a lot of delays before losing the project. The debut director had finished about twenty-five percent of the film. Although it has some controversies around, the director L I Kannan was said to have done a decent job in making the film so far, collecting information and doing the research which is very much important especially when taking a period drama. L I Kannan has also worked on visual effects in movies like Anniyan, Endhiran, Eeram, Ghajini and some more.
