K V Kathirvelu is a Chennai-based film director and scriptwriter from Puducherry. He works in the Tamil film industry, also known as Kollywood. Kathirvelu completed his schooling at Subramania Bharathi Higher Secondary Government School in Puducherry. He then graduated from Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science. Kathirvelu’s most notable work is the 2021 family drama film Rajavamsam, starring Sasikumar. He worked on this film as a debutant director and writer.
