Sindhu Rajasekaran is an Indian author cum filmmaker born in 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She was born to Father- Gnana Rajasekaran Gnana Rajasekaran is an Indian filmmaker. She completed her graduation from Anna University in Electronics and Communications Engineering and her master's degree from the University of Edinburgh in English. She is co-founder of the film production company with her husband, The Camphor Cinema. She made her debut as an author with the book Kaleidoscopic Reflections, which got longlisted in the Crossword Book Award in 2011. The book tells the story of a Tamil inter-cast family of five generations and their fate which is inseparably in link to the future of India. The second book of Sindhu was a collection of short stories named So I Let It Be, released in 2019.

The short story- The Sacred Cow appeared in the Asia Literary Review, the Routine got published in Elsewhere Lit, and the Huffington Post listed this story among 14 contemporary short stories that will spark your mind. The third novel, written by Sidhu- Smashing the Patriarchy- A Guide for the 21st Century Indian Woman, was published by Aleph Book Company in 2021. Ramanujan, a film based on the life of the mathematical intellect- Srinivasa Ramanujan, was written and produced by Sindhu. The film won many awards for Best Production at Ananda Vikadan Best Production Award, V4 Entertainers Film Awards, and NTFF in 2015.

Camphor Cinema received an invitation from The Rashtrapati Bhavan to screen the film for the President of India. She has co-written the play- The Tiara Gynaelogues, which performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2011. At the Hyderabad Literary Festival in 2013, Sindhu was one of the youngest authors to be invited to participate and speak at the event. I Am Her is another film co-written by Sindhu. I Am Her is a Canadian film directed by Sushant Desai. Sindhu's work has appeared in the anthologies Very Much Alive and Dance of the Peacock in Canada. She helped various start-ups and corporates convey their stories better.
