Harris Desom

Harris Desom is an Indian Film Producer/Production controller who has worked primarily in the Malayalam Film Industry. He was born on 26th October 1977 in Kochi, India. He has a brother (Asaf Desom) and a sister (Fiza Zainu). He went to St. Sebestian's High school in Kanjoor and later pursued B.sc. From M.G. University. He is at present married and has two kids (a daughter and a son). He has worked in a variety of fields, including Service Engineer at Speed Computers. He then later switched his profession as a production executive of Malayalam Movies such as Haram, Thira Vikramaditya, Ayaalum Njanum Thammil, Diamond Necklace, Spanish Masala, Doubles.

He also worked as a Production Controller for the movies like KL 10 Patthu (2015), 5 Sundarikal (2013), Monsoon Mangoes (2016), Jacobinte Swargarajyam (2016), Rakshadikari Baiju Oppu (2017). In addition to it, he has worked as a Line Producer in a variety of prestigious Malayalam movies like 9 (2019), Driving Licence (2019), Varane Avashaymund (2020). He has been an executive producer in Ranam - Detroit crossing (2018) as well. On May 1st, 2016, he started working for Prithviraj Productions and is presently working there. He also produced a movie called 'Momo' in Dubai, which will be released in 2021. He was featured in an article of THE NEW INDIAN EXPRESS speaking about the struggles of working as a Line Producer and a Production Controller in the Malayalam Film Industry.
