Praveen Adoor

Praveen Adoor is a video editor of the Malayalam film and television industry. He was born and brought up in Adoor, India. He later shifted to Trivandrum, Kerala, India for his work. He did his schooling at NSS Higher Secondary School, Choorakode. In 2009, he did his Diploma in Multimedia Animation and Visual effects from Keltron Animation Campus, Trivandrum.

Praveen started his career by working for Jaihind TV as a Video Editor from January 2009 to 2012. He had also worked for Jaihind News during his tenure at Jaihind TV. After that, he joined Indiavision Live as an editor. He had worked there for two years (from December 2012 to July 2014). Praveen lately joined Asianet News and has been working there since September 11, 2014.

Apart from working as an editor at various television companies, Praveen has also done work for the Malayalam film industry. Recently, he translated the Australian movie, “The Rocket (2013)” into the Lao language and also worked on the poster of the translated film. Along with that, he has edited many commercial ads and ad films.

He married Akhila Premachandran, the Chief Reporter at Asianet News Pvt. Ltd. on November 19, 2017. The couple has a son and a beautiful daughter.
