Manu Kannamthanam is an Indian film industry cameraman, director, and actor who works predominately in Malayalam films. He has been partof the film industry for more than 15 years. Manu was born on sixteenth March 1988 in Haripad, Kerala. He did his higher education in Haripad. He did his under graduation at Kerala University. Manu Kannamthanam currently resides in Kochi, Kerala. Manu is a devotee of Lord Ayyappan. Manu has worked as an assistant cinematographer and also as associate director for more than 35 films.
He has functioned as an assistant cameraman in the movies Roudram (2008), Mayavi (2007). Manu Kannamthanam considers acclaimed cinematographer Santhosh Sivan as his mentor. In 2016, he debuted as a director with the movie Dhooram. Manu has his own entertainment-focused YouTube channel called Mega Mass Entertainments. Through his YouTube channel, he is planning to provide a platform for talented artists.
