Sahal Hameed was born on 1 November 1998 in Thrissur. He completed his schooling at GHSS Erumapetty (Bengaluru, Karnataka) and then pursued a bachelor of Visual Communication at (Autonomous ) St. Thomas College (Bengaluru, Karnataka). Sahal is a great India-based cinematographer, documentary filmmaker, video producer, and an excellent photographer. He has work experience of over five years in the advertising and film industry. He worked with Netflix, TED, Saregama India Ltd, etc. He also worked as a photojournalist for Travelling Tripod Films for a documentation project of an NGO-CBM India. He is known for working as a documentary filmmaker for projects Mindscapes (2022) and Munnal Murali (2021) and as a still photographer for Kumari (2022) and Manoharam (2019).
