Annapoorna Lekha Pillai is an upcoming youngster in the Malayalam Television industry. She completed her secondary schooling from Silver Sands School and St. Mary's Girls High School in Cherthala while completing her higher secondary education in Christ Nagar English Higher Secondary School.

She then went to pursuit graduation from the Kerala Law Academy Law College in Trivandrum before entering the television field. She initially started off as an Anchor for Kairali Television, where she found a lot of offers.

The morning show in the channel called where she shared the screen space with names like Amrita Sohan and Ajay Warriar proved to be the first taste of experience for Annapoorna who then went on to do some more shows with Amrita.

The duo presented the New Entertainment week and Hello Good evening show in Kairali TV before Annapoorna started to get offers from other big fishes in the television industry. With Asianet, Annapoorna did shows like Onathin Maryath, Theatre and Silver screen and with Mazhavil Manorama she presented the show “Veendum Chattakaari”.

She also presented the Music Café program in Reporter channel which improved her already impressive resume. Annapoorna is currently sticking to anchoring and reporting in various channels but has expressed her desire in taking up acting if the correct role comes by.
