Bappa, who has been assisting his father for nearly 15 years, is a well-trained western composer. He and his wife Tanisha, as well as their son Krish, live in Los Angeles. Apart from being a great composer, Bappa is a very generous person; he was a member of Wax India and assisted India during the critical times of Covid 19. He is well-known for his work and collaboration with Anuradha Palakurthi's Ju Ju Production, an Atlanta-based entertainment company.

In 1996, he made his debut in the industry with the television series "apne jaise types." He also sang a soft melodious number for the film "CKkompany," "sunle khuda, do labjon mein." The composer was recently seen performing the last rites of his father, the legendary Bappi Lahiri. He is a car enthusiast who owns a variety of vehicles, including a BMW, a Range Rover, and a Mercedes, which he recently added to his collection.
