Urs Remond

Urs Remond is a Swiss actor and director. His birthday ison October 12, 1964, and his place of birth is Neukirchen in Germany. He is 52 years old. Remond spent much of his childhood and early youth in Cameroon in Africa. As a child, he trained in classical dance while he was studying in High School. After having completed his graduation, he pursued theater and drama at the University of Theater and Music in Hamburg, Germany. Urs has also flirted with different career options like lecturing, singing, and even stage fights. He is also a gifted ballet dancer. He kicked off his career by writing screenplays and plays, but he later started focusing on his artistic activity that could enhance the field of drama. He created an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula and led his troupe at the Hebbel Theater in 1990.

He continued to work as a director and also got the opportunity to direct many music videos as well. He spent his talents on writing the screenplay of the film, Love is Sexy in the year 2008. Remond also became an actor when he debuted on the TV screen and started to make quite a lot of appearances and landed recurring and guest roles. He played the role of Bill Conolly in the famous TV series Ghostbusters John Sinclair. It was his chief serial part. In the fourth season of RTL’s action series, Medicopter 117 – Every Life Counts, he played the role of an emergency physician. The name of his character was Dr. Mark Harland, and he continued to keep this part from 2010 to 2011. Urs gained international fame and started being active on the global scene.

He was in the American series about secret agents, Covert Affairs, and he even managed a part in the BBC Mini-series 37 Days, which released in 2014. He played the role of a German ambassador, the Prince Lichnowsky. His popularity has been increasing drastically since 2011. In the ARD’s telenovela, Red Roses, he plays the part of Jeff Parker. He is a supporting actor. Red Roses kept him engaged for the entire year of 2016. His wife was Roswitha Schreiner, who he divorced later. Their marriage fell apart due to insecurities and the inability to keep up their professional relationship, especially since she was a very renowned actor.
