Brian Carlo Haley was born on 12th February, 1963, in Seattle, Washington DC, USA.

His father was an airline executive and his mother worked as a part time maid.

He has five siblings. He was the fifth child of his parents.

Brian is the husband of Mary McCoshen Haley. The couple got married in 1987. They are the parents of five children, twins Genevieve and Grace, Bridgette, Carlo, and Haley.

He was sent to a boarding school after shifting to Quebec. He left the school after eighteen months as he didn’t like learning French, which was a compulsory subject in his school. He then did his schooling from a community school in Seattle, and also joined the school theater society and a local community acting society.

Haley decided to pursue acting in 1976, when he was a teenager. At that time, he used to roam around on the sets of the movie, ‘Scorchy’, at downtown Seattle. He got fascinated by all the crowd, costumes, celebrities, etc., which got him interested in acting.

Before pursuing his career in acting, Haley did numerous local jobs like hay buck, ranch hand, and lumberjack. He also joined the US Army, and later, got selected for the Green Berets (US Army Special Forces). He served in the Army for five years from 1980-1985. He also received the Army Achievement Medal and many letters of commendation for his good work in the force.

In 1983, he did a musical play called Guys and Dolls, which was based on the book written by Damon Runyon, titled ‘The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown and Blood Pressure’.

Haley’s career in the show business started in 1988 when he won a comic competition, in which he won the title “Hollywood’s Hottest New Comic”. He was offered many film projects after this.

He is best known for his performance in Baby’s Day Out, in 1994. It was a family comedy by Richard Hughes. Haley played the role of a kidnapper named Victor Veeko Riley, who along with his two partners, kidnap a wealthy baby. The movie was a massive hit. Haley’s career flourished after this.

Haley is also a businessman, who established the restaurant chain named Chasen’s.

He is also actively involved with the initiatives of the World Vision Organization.

He wrote the first episodes of the sitcoms, The Sunday Comic (1992), and One Night Stand Click to look into! >> Read More... (1991).
