Bruce Spence is a Television and Movie actor. He is from New Zealand, but has spent most of his career and acting life working in Australia. He was born on 17th of September , 1945. He was born in Auckland, New Zealand. He completed his studies in the same country from Henderson High School, which is in West Auckland. He has two siblings who are his younger brothers and also the founders of Matua Wines. With an unbelievable height of six feet and seven inches , he is one of the tallest actors in the industry to have played the leading roles in movies. He is known by the audiences for his performance in "Mad Max 2".

He played the Gyro Captain. Further in the series, he played Jedediah , a pilot in the sequel Mad Max Beyond Thunder dome. He was later seen in Legend of the Seeker, where he played the role of Zedd. In 1971, he won the AFI Award for the Best Actor for his performance in the comedy Stork in 1971. His voice was also heard in the blockbuster animation film Finding Nemo. He was the voice of Chum in the movie. The box-office hit The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King gave Bruce a chance to play the Mouth of Sauron. He was then seen in The Matrix Revolutions as the Trainman.

In the show Spence’s character narrates the activities and various acts by the real life-sized artificial dinosaurs, which were operated on by a group of puppeteers and drivers. In 2008, Bruce joined the much talked about television series Legend of the Seeker which was based on Terry Goodkind’s series Sword of Truth. He played the character of Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander, which also cast Craig Horner along with Bridget Regan.

The show managed to run for two seasons and then was taken off the air. Recently in 2014, Bruce played a prisoner George Corella in one episode of the series Rake. He was then seen in Backtrack : Gods of Egypt and Blue World Order. He played a character for the hit video games Enter the Matrix- The Trainman and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!
