He started his career in the year 1975. Rob Cohen began his career becoming a Producer and then, later on, he focused on the direction in the year 1990’s. He is the director of the films like XXX, Dragonheart, Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story and much more. Rob Cohen took the effort and started the Fast and Furious Franchise. Rob Cohen completed his graduation from Harvard University and he did his graduation in Visual Studies and Anthropology.

After completing his graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and there he worked as a Screenwriter for the producer Martin Jurow. After sometime Martin Jurow moved somewhere else and Cohen became unemployed. Cohen started working with International Famous Agency and while working there, he found a rejected script. According to him the script was unique and had a great concept so, he said that this is an amazing award-winning script. That script turned into a movie named The Sting in the year 1973 and won Academy Award as well. Cohen worked in television and film for 40 years and made himself a very popular Producer, Director and Screenwriter as well. In the 1973 Cohen started working in the 20th Century Fox Television as a Head of Programming. Cohen also sold two unproduced films of Fox and William Edwin Self was a little upset about it but later he gave him the Vice President’s Title. Cohen also made his first Motown Movie and came up with an amazing idea and the shooting of the film began in 1974. He also started up with a unique movie in the year 1976 named The Bingo Long Travelling All – Stars & Motor Kings. He is the Director of many Tv Series like Miami, The Witches Of Eastwick, Light Of Day, Ironweed and much more. In the year 1999 Cohen got purely into Direction only.

He won the Golden Globe Award for the film The Rat Pack. He also worked as an Action Director as well. As an action Director, he did the movie The Fast and Furious in the year 2001 and hit the screens.
