‘Yeh Sasuraal Bemisaal' is basically a Pakistani TV Show which was aired in Pakistan under the name of ‘Sasural Ke Rang Anokhay’ in 2013 on HUM TV. In India, Zindagi TV channel had aired the same in May 2015. Every episode had a different cast and had a different story to tell its viewers. The tales of love and quarrel between in-laws are displayed beautifully in this show. This is a series of telefilms based on short stories that delve into the various aspects of married life. In one of the episodes tilted, ‘Uff. Deddy ka kya karein', the story of a girl named Afsha, her father Muzafar and her brother Mansoor was shown. Right before Afsha was about to get married, her brother Mansoor goes and meets his sister secretly.

This created a doubt in the minds of Afsha’s future-in-laws family and the marriage is called off. In another episode entitled ‘Shor Machaaye Chor’, the tale of Irshad who is the sole breadwinner in the family is portrayed. His brother-in-law, Aslam, does not do any work and so Irshad advices his sister, Tiara, to make Aslam get a job and earn something so that he can also contribute towards the maintenance of the family. But nobody listens to him. One fine day, all the money that Irshad had saved gets stolen. Unable to accept the stealing that happened daily in his family , Irshad leaves home and promises that he would come back only if the members of his family would stop stealing. Irshad’s wife hence gives money which she had kept for purchasing some clothes.

Later one time, it so happens that even Irshad ends up stealing money. Another episode of this telefilm was titled, 'Baabla Ki Babli'. It is a light-hearted comedy of a fat boy called Baabla who wants to get married but his mother does not want him to get married for he is over-weight. Baabla dreams that he will get a beautiful wife one day. Does he finally get her? All episodes had a humorous turn to them. Every episode brought the issues of a household in the limelight but in a funny and humorous way.
