T. Surendra Reddy is called the pioneer cinematographer of digital filmmaking in the Indian entertainment industry because he shot the first digital movie of India “Toss.” T. Surendra Reddy was born on April 5, 1960, in Parlapalli Village, located in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh. T. Surendra Reddy is happily married, and his wife is T. Samatha Reddy. From an early age, he wanted to become a cameraman. Initially, he worked as a camera attendee at Murugalaya Studio. Afterward, when he gained some experience, he started working with some veteran cinematographers. He worked there with many big names including Lakshman Ghore, Dasaratharam, K. S. Hari, and one of his friends Chota K. Naidu. As an independent cinematographer, T. Surendra Reddy has shot over 50 movies. He shot movies in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. T. Surendra Reddy has worked in multiple cities including Mumbai, Cochin, Chennai and Hyderabad. T. Samatha Reddy has not only experience in feature films but also in television serials and documentaries.

Anando Brahma, a comedic horror film directed by Mahi V Raghav and starring Srinivas Reddy and Taapsee Pannu, is one of his 2017 projects.

He was introduced to the cinema industry through the film Subhavela in the year 2000. The film was directed by Teja; but Ravi was not recognized at that time. When he did not get proper recognition, Ravi Prakash got fed up and continued with his MBBS. He became a qualified doctor. After 4 years, he was called by Gautam Menon to perform as a Police officer in the film Gharshana. It gave him a good breakthrough and the audience recognized him well. Athadu, Killer, Simha, Gaganam, Payanam, Vedam, Vaanam, Dookudu, Maattraan, Solo, Ishq, Badshah, Edhir Neechal, Thalaivaa, Aagadu, Nee Thaane En Pon Vasantham, S/O Satyamurthy and Gabbar is back are his popular Telugu and Tamil movies. Recently, he has performed with Balakrishna in the film Lion, in a good role. Dagudumootha Dandakor is his latest film. With his excellent performance, Ravi Prakash attracts the audiences. People say that, when they hear the name Ravi Prakash, an image of a Police officer, screens in front of their eyes. Ravi is very choosy in his films and hence he gets good roles, so far.
