Telugu Movie Review Dhakshina - Cast & Crew

Dhansika is a Tamil actress who went to get acclaim and recognition for supporting roles. Known for her performances in films such as ‘Aravaan’ and ‘Paradesi’, she is now in the news for playing superstar Rajinikanth's daughter in his 159th film ‘Kabali’. Dhaniska was recently signed in a project for playing Rajinikanth's daughter. Director Pa. Ranjith is expected to shoot the film in three foreign locations such as in Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong with the multi-star cast very soon. In this film, the superstar Rajinikanth will be portraying the character of Don. Much awaited film ‘Kabali’, is expected to take her career graph in the right direction. At the start of her career, she took up some odd roles including ‘Thirudi’ and ‘Manathodu Mazhaikalam’. 

She made her debut with film Thirudi. Later on, she played a lead role in few films that she had acted. Her talent was well received in the film like ‘Vanapechi’ and ‘Paradesi’. She received awards for her performance in these two films. With her performance as supporting actress in her first film, where she played one of the four female leads, she went to act in Maanja Velu with Arun Vijay and Aravaan with actor Aadhi. After her stunning performance in Aravaan, she was considered to play a second heroine role in Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ethir Neechal', but later Nandita Swetha replaced Dhaniska opposite hero Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanishka complained that her remuneration was not higher for the role in 'Ethir Neechal'. Vasanthabalan's Aravaan had really helped her a lot to attain the next level actress altogether. It was a periodic film, and her role had shades of playing a village girl of Madurai during 1910. Soon after this film, she established herself as a demanding actress who can shoulder complex roles. This film actually revamped her career graph. Her forthcoming films are ‘Kitna’, which is being directed by Samuthirakani. Another film, ‘Kaala Koothu’, will see her playing one of the two female leads which is being directed by debutant Nagarajan, Recently, audiences have seen her playing charcter of Saroja Devi in film Vizhithiru, which had Krishna Kulasekaran and Venkat Prabhu in stellar roles.

Ankitha is a Telugu Tv actress. She was born and brought up in Bangalore. Her mother tongue is Kannada. Her pet name is Binnu. She started her career through ads and after that she has entered into TV serials. She started her career at very small age. Ankitha has 6 years of experience in serials. She has two younger brothers in her family. She is now studying degree. She came into fame with Adagaka ichina manasu, happy days, and Egire pavurama serials. Her hobbies are karate, dancing, listening to music, driving and swimming.

Karuna is a Telugu serial actress. She was born and brought up in Hyderabad. She started her acting career at her childhood. When she went to Bala Bhavan for summer camp, Aaha movie coordinators were searching for child artist;  then they selected karuna for that movie. In Aaha, she acted as a child artist and after that she got offers for movies like Ninne ishtapaddanu, Mass, Manthra, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, Shankar Dhadha MBBS, etc. She got married on October 22, 2009 with Bharth Bhushan and she has one kid. Karuna’s husband is an ad film maker. She is acting because of his support and encouragement. When she goes for shooting, she leaves her child with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

She did not think about to act in serials, but she got first offer in Yuva serial, then she acted in that and after that she did Love serial.

She acted in Mogalirekulu serial and earned fame. Actually in this serial she came in middle for substitution but she did good job. Diirector Manjula Naidu had seen her on Bale Chancele program and then she asked Karuna to act in Magalirekulu. She accepted and after that she left Pasupu Kumkuma serial. Now she is working in Sravana Sameeralu serial, in this she is leading main role.

Rishav Basu is an Indian actor, theatre artist, and model working predominantly in Bengali films. Rishav Basu was born on 15 September 1990 in the city of Kolkata, West Bengal. He attended- St. Augustine’s Day School, Kolkata, for his school education. He completed his graduation from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Videography. Rishav was a theatre actor before entering the TV and film industry.

Suddala Ashok Teja, the National Award Winner for the best lyricist, for the song "Nenu Saitam" from the film Tagore (2003) was born in the village Suddala, in the Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh on 16 May 1954. He was born to a well-known Telugu poet, Suddala Hanmanthu and Janakamma. Hanmanthu was a Padmashali poet of Telangana Saayudha Porata Yodhudu and the Telangana Rebellion. Ashok Teja has three siblings, Suddala Prabhakar Teja, Suddala Sudhakar Teja and Racha Bharathi. Young Ashok had a knack of composing lyrics since his childhood. At the beginning of his career, he was a Teacher in Bandalingapoor in the Karimnagar district. But he was positively able to improve his talent and pursue it with some help.
