I was wondering what on earth is this JUA and now am completely enlightened after watching the movie. Thanks to VV Vinayak. Its some sort of a stone that protects the earth and its been safeguarded by some African tribes along the earth's equator. Akhil is a happy go lucky guy and falls in love with a medical student Divya. She goes to Europe and falls into trouble for treating an African boy and some gangster dude kidnaps her. In between a German scientist tries to get hold of this JUA and our hero tries to save the world by getting back that JUA and save his girl too. That's what I understood from the film.
Script looks good on paper and seems innovative but the screenplay lacked detailing. Vinayak should have been extra careful while dealing with innovative subjects because its difficult to make the audience believe. He largely banked on Akhil's strengths and took the audience for granted. There are plenty of loopholes and the film doesn't demand the audience's attention. Even the dialogues were weak. His handling of the African episodes were pretty amateurish. Music was pretty decent and the cinematography was too good. Editing was good but the film seemed to drag big time due to poor screenplay. VFX was below par when compared to the recent films in Tollywood.
Having said that, Akhil had made an impressive debut. He can dance, deliver neat dialogues and is good at stunts too. But he needs to work on his acting skills. The heroine looks pretty and makes an entry for the songs and that's all about her. The comedy track was pretty weak too. Only standout was

is neither the comedian nor the villain.
So in Akhil, Akhil is the only saving grace with his dance and stunts. He is someone to lookout for in the future, only if he makes efforts to carefully pick good subjects. Overall, the film does not live upto its expectations as its largely illogical and boring. First half is way better than the 2nd half. So you can walk out after the interval. Watch it if you have all the time in the world and you don't mind wasting time. Otherwise, stay out.
