2. Barun Chanda
Barun Chanda is an actor mainly appearing in Bengali and Hindi films. He was born in Dhaka, which is now the capital city of Bangladesh. Later he moved to Kolkata, West Bengal to complete his higher education. Apart from being an actor, he is a writer and an advertising professional. He has written a number of books, including a Bengali thriller Coke, Shaaper Jhaapi, and Kidnap.
Barun's first Bengali film was the famous director Satyajit Ray's Seemabaddha in 1971. He was selected for the protagonist on the film. The film also starred Sharmila Tagore. He did not work in any other film for the next two decades. His next film came after 21 years in 1992 and it was titled Hirer Angti. This was the debut film of director Rituparno Ghosh
