Meena Khatri is an Indian singer and songwriter, predominantly delving in the genre of folk. She was born on 4^th February, in the town of Nandaprayag in Chamoli, a district in Uttarakhand. She completed her schooling from G.I.C. Bairaskund (Chamboli) and her higher education in Bachelor of Arts from Govt PG College, Gopeshwar. A resident of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, she is a virtuous and self-made artist. She chiefly sings Garhwali Bhajans which are popular and loved amongst the Pahari community of Uttarakhand. Her most successful songs include “Bairash Kund Ka Saina”, “Teri Samun”, “Jai Ghandiyal”, “Pandvo Ka Mahavrid”, “Koteshwar Dam” and “Tum Duty Par”.
