Devraj Rangila was born on 15 September, in village Ginwali, Pauri district, Uttarakhand. He is a renowned Pahari folk music director. His father, Dilwar Singh, is also a folk singer by profession. His whole family is connected to the folk music. His distinguished songs include “Ganeshi Baanda”, “Rudi Bou”, “Jhaapa Jajmani”, and “Gayali Bau”.
