Born on 14th April 1946, Tomazinho Cardozo is an Indian Politician, Playwright, Writer, Dramatist, and Educationist from Goa. Tomazinho Cardozo is popular for his achievements on the literary front. Tomazinho Cardozo also serves as a former speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly. He taught Maths and Science in school. Tomazinho Cardozo was also the sarpanch of Candolim village Panchayat in Goa. He served five years in the Goa Legislative Assembly from the Calangute constituency. His debut as an artist was on the Konkani Tiatra stage in 1957. He founded the tiatr group Tiatr Mogi which means Lovers of Tiatr. His group won many awards for plays.
