In fact, in Pakistan a much lower number of actors have migrated smoothly into film careers than in India. Even those who have been successful have seldom managed to get away from typecast roles they performed in their first films. Irfan has been in numerous TV series in both supporting and main roles. He is well-known for his roles in the ARY Digital comedies Jeena Tou Yehi Hai and Bulbulay. He has appeared in numerous popular and well-remembered TV series on various networks, such as Aros Paros, Ijazat, and Rishtey on ARY Digital, Pakistan Quarters, Badaltey Mousam, Baitiyan, and Malika on Hum TV, Sarparast, Noor Jahan, and Partition Aik Safar on Geo TV.
