Among many well-known and skilled senior actresses of the Pakistani drama industry, Saba Faisal is an emerging name. She has proven her skills over a period of time in a very refined and appreciable way. Saba started her career as a newscaster in 1990’s on PTV, which is the national TV channel of Pakistan; she proved herself as a well-known newscaster. Soon Saba was attracted towards the glamour of the entertainment industry and tried her luck in dramas. No doubt, she proved her worth in acting and news casting. Saba has remained an impressive and admiring part of many drama serials on PTV and on other private channels as well. “Baarh” and “Din Dhallay” are amongst her famous dramas on PTV.

Faiza Gillani is a character artist who has appeared on Pakistani television, stage, and film. She was born in Pakistan in 1980. She began acting in 2013 and can now be seen in supporting roles on Deewangi on Geo Entertainment, Tarap on Hum TV, and Bikhray Moti on ARY. Faiza was born into a wealthy family with ties to the film business. Her cousins were all actors, so she grew up in a family where performing was a way of life. Faiza Gillani began her acting career following her cousins Ushna Shah and Shah Sharabeel. Her debut role as "Sana" in the PTV network's "Kami Reh Gaee" was released in 2013. That was an ideal time for her to advance her career in her profession. Her characters and performances landed her on channel super hit lists, cementing her reputation as a well-known performer.

Deeba, also known as Deeba Rizvi, was born on August 1, 1947, in Ranchi district, Bihar. She is a famous leading Pakistani film actress, well known for her tragic and romantic roles in Urdu and Punjabi films of the 1960s and 70s. She is known as the Mona Lisa of Pakistan. She married Naeem Rizvi, a cameraman, in 1971. She has three children. Two of them work in the media industry. She left her career due to marriage but joined again in 1987 due to financial hardships. Her debut film is Charagh Jalta Raha. She has won Nigar Best Actress Award for her performance in the film Sajna Door Diya in 1970. She also won the Pride of Performance Award in recent times.

Bushra Ansari is the daughter of noted Pakistani writer and journalist Ahmad Bashir. She was born in Karachi on February 16, 1954. She did her schooling in Lady Griffin's School at Lahore  and from her early childhood started performing in movies and theatres as a child artist. She completed her intermediate from lahore College of Women University and has a B.A degree from Rawalpindi's Viqar-un-Nisa College for Women.

In 1978, she got married Iqbal Ansari who encouraged her to take up her childhood career of acting and after marriage, she pursued her career in acting with great success. Bushra also tried her hand at writing scripts for films and TV serials and there also she was a great success with Neeli Dhoop, Makaan and Kuchh Dil Ne kaha. Her serial Dil Hai Chhota sa, which she did under supervision of her husband Iqbal Ansari in 2010 for Geo TV is considered to be highest rated TV serial in Pakistan till now. 

Bushra is a very popular and versatile actress and she is equally comfortable in any type of role whether it is a comedy or a serious role. She is also a great singer and and a dynamic compere. She has won numerous awards for her performances. She received Pride of Performance Award in 1989, a Presidential Award from Parvez Musharaf and a Women's Achievement Award fro Benazir Bhutto. She has two daughters who are also accomplished professionals.

Faisal Rehman or better known by his stage name Faisal is a prominent television and film actor, writer and director from Pakistan. He was born in Lahore but his ancestors were hailed from Afghanistan. Faisal is the son of Massud-ur-Rehman, a cinematographer and his brother Fasih Ur Rehman is a classical dancer. He is also the nephew of popular Bollywood actor Rehman. He completed his matriculation at St. Anthony High School in Lahore and entered the film industry at the age of 14. His first role was from the movie Nahi Abhi Nahi in 1980, which stars famous actress Shabnam. He continued to do films and studies at the same time. He attended Forman Christian College and took up Bachelors Degree in English Literature from the University of Punjab. 

He was successful in his debut film and went on to act in several films for almost ten years. In the early 90’s, he moved to Canada and dwells in the country for five years. Faisal lives in Montreal, from where he learned French language. He is also fluent in English, Dari (Persian), Punjabi, Urdu and Bengali languages. When he came back to Pakistan, he did two feature films and several telefilms and dramas. He was applauded by the audience in the drama serial Malaal, helmed by Mehreen Jabbar. He played as Danish, a shallow and possessive man who marries a girl that is half of his age. This serial received the nomination at the 10th Annual Lux Style Award under the category of Best Serial. 

Faisal is also the co-founder of an association for the actors called The Actors’ Collective (ACT). This was established in the year 2009 in Lahore. From 1980 to 1985, Faisal has done films like Aladin, Yeh Zamana Aur Hay, Nadani, Tina, Doorian, Biwi Ho To Aisee, Love Story, Mehek, Miss Colombo, Aaposh, Naraaz, Dhanak, Palkon Ki Chaon Main, Miss Singapore, Chakkar, Beqarar, Qasam Munnay Ki, Girebaan, Baat Ban Jay, Jeenay Nahi Doon Gee, Agar Tum Na Hotay, Aandhi, Bazar R Husn, Pyaar Aur Pesa, Ghaddaar and Guns and Roses. He also did several television serials starting from year 1997 to 2012. The last was with Kamal Haasan in Ranjish Hi Sahi on Geo TV. 

Faisal also directed World Ka Centre in 2002 and won the Best TV Film and Director, Kali Shalwaar in 2003, Javaid Shampoo in 2004, Home in 2005, Karwachoth, Nausar Baaz and a music video in 2006, and Blouse in 2007.

Affan Waheed is a Pakistani model/actor/RJ, who shot to fame with his role as Musaf in ‘Aik Pal’ (2014), and also his works in serials like ‘Ab Nai Ho Ghi’ (2015), ‘Mausam’, ‘Izzat’, ‘Sabki Ladli Laraib’, ‘Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam’, etc. The actor, who was born on 29 th September 1984 comes from the city of Lahore.

Sami Khan born on July 6, 1980 is a Pakistani actor and model. He has graduated from UET, Lahore. He began his career in the TV industry with the film “Salakhain” in 1998. He has enacted his roles in the movies brilliantly and thus got recognised in the Indian television industry as well. “Devar Bhabhi” was his Lollywood debut in 2013. He won the Tarang Houseful Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He also won the PTV Best Actor Award for the serial “Ghar Ki Khatir” in 2011.

 Sami Khan’s most famous daily soap opera is “Love, Life Aur Lahore”. It is a Pakistani television serial which airs on A-Plus channel. Khan plays the role of Pari Paiker who is in love with a Hindu girl. The story is about their love story. “Meri Ladli” is another of his opera which is a Pakistani romantic drama serial which began in 2012. Khan plays the role of Abdul Hadi. It is the story about a young woman, Aarfah who elopes with her beloved, Sajid. The serial revolves around the difficulties they face. Thus, Khan’s work has been recognised and he continues to charm the audience with his marvellous acting.
