Faryal Mehmood is a Pakistani model turned actress. She was born and brought up in New York City, United States. Faryal's mother, Rohani Bano, is a Pakistan singer. She had an incredibly complicated childhood. Faryal Mehmood started her journey from the television show, and later, she turned out a successful actress through movies. She commenced her adventure as an actress in 2015. This year she appeared in two television serials named Farwa Ki ABC and Khuda Dekh Raha Hai as Sana Mehmood. In 2016, she was featured in three serials, Mera Yaar Mila De as Mehr, Aap Ke Liye as Shaheer's wife, Teri Chah Mein as Amber, Babul Ki Duane Leti Ja as Nirma, and Bheegi Palkein as Ifra.

A phenomenal producer and a brilliant director, Momina Duraid is the woman behind the popular Pakistani television dramas Humsafar, Dastaan, Udaari, Shehr-e-Zaat, and more. Hailing from a Pashtun background, Momina Duraid was born on June 30, 1971, in Pakistan. She completed her Master’s in Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 1997. She got married to classmate Duraid Qureshi, CEO of Hum Network Ltd. The couple has five children. Her mother-in-law, Sultana Siddiqui, is the founder and president of Hum Network Limited.

Ismat Iqbal is a Pakistani Television actress, born in 1965. Ismat Iqbal started her acting career early and appeared as a lead actress in serials aired on PTV Home during 1970-1990. She was active during 1977-1999. Then she took a break. Currently, she is in the Television Industry playing the role of mother. Director Bakhtiar Ahmad Introduced her to Pakistan Television.

For the Karachi born Pakistani TV actress Sania Saeed, it was but natural that she would enter into enacting dramas, sooner or later. Coming from parents who were highly educated and soaked into drama, she picked up her threads early, while at the same time pursuing her studies. She made her first break into television in 1989 when she was 17, through a street theatre play called “Aurat”. In fact, Sania’s skills in drama were honed and polished by her participation in her father’s troupe, called Dastak.

Dastak was formed in the backdrop of the struggle for democracy in Pakistan in 1982, and it staged street theatre with the help of a closely knit group of volunteer human rights activists. It continued the struggle till 1988 helping to bring to an end Pakistan’s longest running autocratic rule.  It was here that Sania learnt her first lessons in theatre by playing child characters in some of the Urdu versions of world famous plays, including those of Chekov and others.

However, it was actually about 4 years later that she shot into real prominence through her roles in the serial “Aahat” in 1991, followed the very next year by “Sitara Aur Mehrunissa” . 

After these two landmark serials there was no looking back for her. She has a fair mix of TV dramas (about 30) and TV serials (about 16), but her association with TV does not end there, she took part in Talk Shows also, being eminently qualified for the same. She had never ignored her education and completed her course in Clinical psychology after her early education. 

Her association with Dastak also extended even further, when she got her husband, writer director, Shahid Shafaat too, involved in the Dastak movement. Together they formed what was later christened as Katha, a grouping of working children from their hometown, trained into performing street plays. All in all, Sania Saeed is not just a TV personality, but a veritable movement, who with her father Mansoor Saeed and husband Shahid, has brought street theatre in Pakistan to a new level.

Among many well-known and skilled senior actresses of the Pakistani drama industry, Saba Faisal is an emerging name. She has proven her skills over a period of time in a very refined and appreciable way. Saba started her career as a newscaster in 1990’s on PTV, which is the national TV channel of Pakistan; she proved herself as a well-known newscaster. Soon Saba was attracted towards the glamour of the entertainment industry and tried her luck in dramas. No doubt, she proved her worth in acting and news casting. Saba has remained an impressive and admiring part of many drama serials on PTV and on other private channels as well. “Baarh” and “Din Dhallay” are amongst her famous dramas on PTV.

Hadiqa Kiani was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Hadiqa since her childhood has love for music as she performed in various school competitions and won many awards.  Hadiqa got her education in from Waqar-Un-Nisa Noon School Rawalpindi.  Hadiqa was among the fortunate singers who represented Pakistan in different singing competitions in Jordan, Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria. When she was in 8th grade, she moved to Lahore where she enrolled in Aligarh Public School.  She was even excellent in her academics as she was enrolled in Kinnaird College and she got her master degree completed in Psychology.

Hadiqa started her TV career with a children program on national television named as Angan Angan Taray.  During her three and half year stay with national television, she sung about 800 songs for kids along with legendary music composer Amjad Bobby.

Hadiqa was given a chance to sing a song for movie in 1994 featuring Zeba Bakhtiar. The music was composed by Adnan Sami Khan. She got many awards as playback singer.  Hadiqa was focused on her solo album as she launched her first music album in year 1996 named “Raaz”. The music album turns out as biggest hit and a lot of admiration has been received by her on her debut album.

The popularity and fame she got was tremendous as she was the first ever female signer from Asia to perform at BBC1 (British national lottery) about 16.6 million people viewed the program at that time.  She was the first ever singer from Asia to signed a deal with Pepsi Cola Int.

Iqra Aziz is a Pakistani actress who mainly worked in Urdu television. Born on 24 November 1997. She belongs to Karachi and has graduated from the University of Karachi. Her father died when she was young. She is married to Yasir Hussain in 2019. In 2014 she made her acting debut in the show Kisey Apna Kahein in the supporting role. Iqra is recognized for portraying Ajiya in the show Suno Chanda. She got several awards for her role. She also works as a model. She got her first lead role in 2015 in the show Muqaddas. Since then, she has done many other lead roles. Iqra left her studies to focus on acting.

Saqib Sumeer is a famous Pakistani film actor, dramatist. He was born on October 17, in Bahawalpur a city in Pakistan. Presently he is residing in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Bachelors in Computer Science. He travelled to Karachi to have his Masters degree in MBA but his destiny had something else in store for him. Instead of studying MBA, in 2006 he gave an audition and took admission in National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), an Art school in Karachi, Pakistan. He pursued his education from NAPA and in 2008 completed his graduation. Before becoming a famous face among the Pakistani audience, Saqib struggled a lot but never gave up.

Salman Shahid first hit the small screens with humor in Pakistan. His notable roles on the small screen are from sitcoms; Tal Matol, Ho Bahoo, and Teen Bata Teen. Kashif Nisar was born in the place Quetta, which is situated in Balochistan in the country Pakistan. Noman Ijaz is a Pakistani actor, who was born on 14th February 1965 in Lahore, Pakistan. His father was a manager at one movie theatre in Lahore and his father’s job influenced him a lot in getting into the acting career. His family led a simple and humble life and his father wanted to make sure that all of his three children received good education and they were sent to the best Christian Management schools in Lahore. Noman has two brothers and he is now married to Rabia and they have three children.

He began his acting career through PTV and he acted mainly in dramas. He was famous for his negative roles in the dramas and is considered as one of the most respected senior artists in the Pakistan industry. Noman struggled a lot to find his place in the industry initially and he was widely respected for his hard work and humble behaviour. He has an Urdu movie ‘Ramchand Pakistani’ to his credit which was released in 2008. He portrayed a Pakistani Hindu, who crossed the border towards India accidently and his wife’s role was played by Nandita Das in the movie. He was honoured by Pakistan president with the ‘Pride of performance award’ in 2011. He currently hosts a TV show on PTV.

Hamza Sohail is a young Pakistani actor who made his debut in 2021. He was born in Karachi, Pakistan. Many people might not know this, but he is the son of Sohail Ahmed, a famous Pakistani comedian and stage actor known for his work in the comedy show Hasb-e-Haal. Hamza Sohail has a younger brother as well. Hamza's schooling took place in Pakistan. After which, respecting his parent's wish, he went to London to pursue graduation. After completing his graduation in 2019, he returned to Pakistan to pursue his career in the showbiz industry. His first project in the showbiz industry was Raqeeb Se, a drama series in which he played the character of Abdul. The series starred prominent industry names, such as Sania Saeed, Nauman Ijaz, and Faryal Mahmood.
