Atiqa Odho is a famous and talented Pakistani Television star. This multitalented woman is a movie actor, Show presenter and also, runs a cosmetic brand. Atiqa was born in Karachi, in Pakistan. She began her role in the field of Cinema, from the year 1989. Initially, she started her career, as a makeup artist and a Hair Stylist. The popular director Anwar Maqsood spotted her during one of her makeup sessions for an advertisement. He then made her act in the television soap, Sitara Aur Mehrunnisa, in the year 1992. She played the lead role as Sitar in the series, which turned out to become a successful one. Other soaps to her credit are Nijaat, Harjaee, Humsafar and many more. This popularity she gained through television landed Atiqa in her first silver screen venture.

Shaista Lodhi is a Pakistani actress, TV anchor and host. She was born on 26 November, 1977 in Karachi, Pakistan. Her father is Mr. Ali Gohar Lodhi, and her mother’s name is Roshan Taj Lodhi. She was raised with her three brothers, Tahir Lodhi, Amir Lodhi, and Sahir Lodhi. She has studied medicine and completed her MBBS from the Jinnah Sindh Medical University in 2000. In 1999, she got married to Waqar Wahidi and she came to be known as Shaista Wahidi. However, they both got divorced and separated in 2012. She decided to get married for a second time in June 2015 and got married to Adnan Lodhi who is the first Pakistani art auctioneer in South Africa.

Previously known as Saba Pervaiz, Saba Hameed is the daughter of famous columnist Hameed Akhtar. She was born in Lahore on 21st of June 1957. For her siblings, Saba has one brother and three sisters. She did her studies in ‘Lahore College for Women University’. The colossal actress started her journey in the world of showbiz in 1980. She proved her talent in almost all the categories of acting, whether it was drama serials, sitcoms, long plays, TV shows or talk shows. Saba also tried her luck in theatre in 1980’s and 1990’s and earned a good name there as well.

Usman Mazhar is a Pakistani actor and a stand-up comic. He started with doing small shows and was the anchor for a few events as well. He has done Open Mic events at places like Lahore and Karachi. He was a part of the Baghair Breakfast show with Saad Haroon on City FM 89 on 10th June 2017. Faraz Ahmed joined him on the show.

Munawwar Saeed is a television actor and belongs to Pakistan. He has been in this industry for over ten years. He has worked in about two hundred films and a thousand dramas. After getting his graduation degree, he began to teach in an engineering college in Karachi, Pakistan. However, his childhood passion for acting made his heart wander away from his occupation of being a teacher. He was nominated for his character in one the plays and he won the award called Graduate’s Award.

Ali is an actor in the entertainment industry. He was born on 9 June 1984 in Lahore, Pakistan. His father is a successful businessman and mother is a housewife. Ali also has two siblings including ne elder brother and a sister. He also obtains his graduation degree in Marketing and Media at a University in Lahore. Ali has been married to Natasha Khan, who is a successful makeup artist on 8 April 2022. He acted in various television shows, such as “Mala Mir,” which was aired on 17 October 2019 and was directed by Tahseen Khan, “Uraan,” which focuses on the characters of Mina and Hussna, who are cousins and Hussna live with Mina and her parents after parent’s death.

With Pakistani TV Actor, things have happened in the reverse order – he made his debut in films and then migrated from films to TV serials, which surely goes against the normal trend. But keeping in tune with his penchant for adventure sports like scuba diving, flying and hunting, Asad is a self confessed “adventurer” and bold enough in whatever he does or comes across. Although not one to have originally thought about an acting career, nor having taken any initial formal training for it, he grabbed the opportunity, prompted by his impulsive nature, when the opportunity came his way, back in 1989. 

As mentioned, Asad Malik started his acting stint as a film actor in 1989, though none of the movies in which he featured could be referred to in any glowing terms, starting off with a horror movie entitled “Pamela”. As his film career really did not take off in any way that would have given him any encouragement, he turned his attention to drama, which still is considered the best art form in Pakistan to show case one’s acting talents. After a brief period of internship, Asad caught the eyes of discerning theater goers with his acting in the 1993 drama serial “Dasht”, shot in the backdrop of Balochistan with a woman centric theme, in the year 1993. 

That was a turning point in his career, and from then onwards Asad demonstrated his inherent talent as an actor to the theatre world at large. Side by side, with his name spreading as an actor, he took up modelling opportunities that came his way, side by side with his acting. He then went on to act in quite a few plays of that period, for the then sole TV channel - PTV. Some of these plays like the family drama “Janey Anjaney”, tale of brothers and sisters, “Aansoo” and the slightly controversial “Niqab” most of them penned by the legendary writer Haseena Moin and aired in early 2000 on PTV made Asad a front runner on Pakistani TV. 

Completing a series of fairly successful drama serials for PTV, Asad had also gone over to the private satellite channels when the opportunity came, featuring in “Dil Moti Ke Mole” for ATV, followed by two more for the same channel titled “Adhoori Film Ki Puri Kahani” and the other one called “Angoori”. “Larkiyan Mohallay Ki” followed with Hum TV as well as “Kaisi Yeh Deewangi”, also for Hum TV. His sole appearance for Geo TV at that time was “Buri Aurat”. His appearances ranged from social, romantic, family as well as slightly adult themes. With his success on the TV screen, Asad Malik had confided in several forums that he harbours no intentions to try his luck once again in films, and is quite confident about his future, describing himself as more of a self made man, rather than someone who has followed someone else’s footsteps or guidance in the growth of his career.

Aijaz Aslam, an actor by profession, was born on October 3, 1972, in Karachi, Pakistan. He is popular for his lead roles in serials “Kis Din Mera Viyah Hoye Ga” and “Kashkol.” Additionally, Aslam is a fashion designer in Pakistani business industry and a model. 

Noman Ijaz is a Pakistani actor, who was born on 14th February 1965 in Lahore, Pakistan. His father was a manager at one movie theatre in Lahore and his father’s job influenced him a lot in getting into the acting career. His family led a simple and humble life and his father wanted to make sure that all of his three children received good education and they were sent to the best Christian Management schools in Lahore. Noman has two brothers and he is now married to Rabia and they have three children.

He began his acting career through PTV and he acted mainly in dramas. He was famous for his negative roles in the dramas and is considered as one of the most respected senior artists in the Pakistan industry. Noman struggled a lot to find his place in the industry initially and he was widely respected for his hard work and humble behaviour. He started his career with a negative role in the drama ‘Rihaee’ which made him famous both among the audience and the industry folks.

He has an Urdu movie ‘Ramchand Pakistani’ to his credit which was released in 2008. He portrayed a Pakistani Hindu, who crossed the border towards India accidently and his wife’s role was played by Nandita Das in the movie. He was honoured by Pakistan president with the ‘Pride of performance award’ in 2011. He currently hosts a TV show on PTV.
