Huma Nawab is a popular Pakistani actress. She was born on 1 December 1969, in Islamabad, Pakistan. She completed her graduation at the University of Islamabad. Huma’s mother, Fatima Nawab, was also an actress. Huma started her career with ‘Silsila’ in the 80s. She used to do theatre stage plays in her school. Huma was among the most famous actresses during the 80s and 90s. She worked in various Pakistani serials.

In many ways, it is remarkable that Arij Fatyma, one of the leading actresses on Pakistan TV today, had started her life in the distant North Carolina, and even grew up there in her childhood years in a typically American ambience. It was in “Hazaron Saal” that she commenced her acting career, which was aired on Geo TV. It was Geo TV again which telecast her second serial “Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga” too. However, in between her modeling career and acting in TV serials, she had a string of television commercials, covering almost all the leading brands in Pakistan. While she has managed to already appear in 14-15 serials in her shot span of about 4 years since 2012, she has also managed to bag the prestigious best actress award at the HUM Awards 2014. While she has managed to set up a reasonably satisfying TV acting career, her personal life, unfortunately, has not been that happy. She came out of wedlock as soon as she had gone into it, showing perhaps an impulsive trait in her nature. But then she is quite candid about it all, admitting that her marriage did not work and she found it within a few weeks, and came out of it.

Iqbal Bano is a famous scriptwriter of dramas who belongs to Pakistan and is known for the TV series Marr Jain Bhi To Kya, Bechari Mehrunnisa, and Muqaddar. She pursued a Masters in Urdu & Saraiki from Karachi University. Since she was in 10^th std, she has started writing. Before her flourishing writing career, Iqbal Bano worked as a bank manager. Later, she married Malik Faiz Rasool. Iqbal Bano joined the industry in 1979; she started writing at a young age and wrote over 600 Afsaanay.

Asad Qureshi is a British-Pakistan origin filmmaker of the Pakistan and British Film Industry. He was born on 20 November 1959 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He has been staying in Pakistan since 2005 and has worked for the film industry. He had enough courage to film about the harsh reality of the Taliban and the common people. For BBC's Panorama (a British documentary program), Asad directed the documentary "The Battle of Swat Valley," where he showed the actions taken for the Taliban by the army in Swat.
