Wajahat Rauf (born on October 9, 1976) was born and brought up in Karachi, Pakistan. He is a Director, Writer, Producer, Actor, Musician, and Comedian. Wajahat is married to Shazia Wajahat and has two children named Aashir Wajahat and Nayel Wajahat. His son Aashir is also an Actor, singer, and musician. Wajahat started his carrier as a channel head and then debuted as a director with Karachi se Lahore in 2015.

Aashir Wajahat had already acquired a fan following with his lovable antics in several TV serials that he had appeared in as a child artist, and also became a well known face through appearances in TV commercials, as well as a couple music videos. But after the release of his debut film “Karachi Se Lahore”, in 2015, and the success that it has achieved, there is some murmur whether his fame is a reflected one, being the son of Wajahat Rauf, the well known producer/director and a well known name in show biz in Pakistan. It is, however, to be conceded that it must have helped this junior a lot, being under the tutelage of a father like Wajahat Rauf, producer of several successful dramas like Hum TV’s “Nikaah”, and ARY’s “Soteli”, and with the background of a Masters in Mass Communications from California University, to boost him. 

Ali Safina is another of those Pakistani actors who migrated to the home country after having acted as the DJ in a radio station in a foreign land. For him it was Glasgow in Scotland, where he started his Disc Jockeying - quite a distance away from his native Multan. He was born into a traditional Urdu speaking conservative family. He is the only son of his well-settled parents. He also has three siblings, three beautiful sisters. Haider entered into wedlock in 2006. He leads a very happy and contented life with his wife. They had a son together. He had a number of hit and popular songs to his credit in the 1990’s. The most notable were the number Porani Jeans . The same song is reproduced in his 1993 album Sandesa.
