Madiha Imam is a Pakistani host, VJ and actress. She was born in Pakistan on the 8th of February 1991. She studied at Toronto Film School and later attended Dave School of Music. She started her career as an actress on Hum TV’s romantic drama serial, Ishq Mein Teray in 2013.

Azra Aftab is a well-known Pakistani actress known for Hirat(2015) as Mehwesh and Manzil aka Her Lost Destination(2006) as Khanam. Azra has done three movies and several telefilms and daily soaps and popular drama serials including Lahore Junction, Husan ara Kaun, ROGER. Azra is one of the most experienced actors in the Pakistani drama serial and had worked alongside famous personalities such as Nauman Ijaz and Jamal Shah.

Ayesha Sana is a highly educated and a talented actress of Pakistani Film Industry. She has juggled between different roles in Theatre, Television and Silver screen. She completed her graduation, at The Convent of Jesus and Mary, located at New Delhi, in India. She then went on to study law at Kinnaird College, in Lahore. Ayesha then obtained a post-graduation, in law, from the University of London, in England. Ayesha Sana shot to fame, by anchoring the show Lines of Style. Her talent was recognized, and she was signed up to host the reality show Bright KareinIssKo, which was aired on the popular PTV.

Gulfam Khan is an Indian actress. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on 6th June 1972. She is having four siblings. She is from a Pathan family who came to Mumbai from Punjab. Her family came to Punjab from Pakistan in 1920. She completed her schooling from Silver Beach High School, Juhu and her degree of graduation from Tolani College of Commerce in Mumbai. She married to Sajjad Ali, who is London based on 1st May 2013.

She came to the TV world in 2003. She acted in many TV serials. She got her first assignment of acting in the TV serial “Lipstick” as Guddi which was telecast on Zee TV. She worked for different channels in her career. She did “JBC with Javed Jaffery” on an Ajtak news channel in which she played various characters. She did many serials for Zee TV channel like Astitva, Sindoor, Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyann, Chi and Me, Bh se Bhade, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein. She is recognized by her acting. She too worked for different channels. She played a role in a serial “Aathvaan Vachan” as Billo Massi on Sony TV in 2008. She worked for Star one channel in TV series “Remix” and “India Calling”. She did a role in the serial “Diya Aur Bati Hum” which was telecast on Star Plus. She played some comedy roles in “R K Laxman Ki Duniya” and “Twinkle Beauty Parlor” for SAB TV. She has recently done a show “Savdhan India” for Life OK. She got many awards for her acting in different serials. Besides acting, she is a good writer too. She wrote many plays, dramas, screenplays, etc. She wrote for Comedy Circus Season-1 telecast on Sony TV. She also did some advertisements like Surf Excel, Onida A.C, Ayush Shampoo, Laxmi Atta, Munch chocolate, Parle G, etc.

Some people need no introduction because their work is enough to define them. One such personality is Tauqeer Nasir, a 63 years old, the well-known Pakistani veteran actor. He has been serving his nation since 1978. Tauqeer Nasir blessed Pakistan by marking his presence on 14 September 1957 near Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. He pursued Masters's in Mass Communications from the University of Punjab. Being a pursuer of Mass Communication, Tauqeer did not confine himself to journalism only; in fact, entered in acting, presenting, and what not. He later became DG of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts for the tenure of 2 years. Tauqeer left a solid impression of his acting in serious roles, which led him to be awarded with Pride of Performance award by President of Pakistan, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz award, and his name was nominated for Best Actor Drama Series in the 1st Indus Drama Awards 2005 for Maa Aur Mamta.

Mohsin Ali is an actor, model and writer who has worked in various films and serials. In Pakistani films, he has worked on ‘Hide and Seek’ or ‘Chuppan Chuppai’ (2017), which he had directed and written. Also, he has been a writer in ‘Aisi hai Tanhai’ (2017), which was a television series. And recently, he has written for ‘Ishqiya’ (2020), another Pakistani series. He has written the script for the television drama serial ‘Dunk’ (2021).

Babar Javed is a Pakistani film director and producer. He has served as a producer and directer of worldwide famous such as Qaid-e-Tanhai, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Mera Saaein, Bashar Momin, Aasmanon Pay Likha, Mor Mahal and much more. All these series were under his own production house A&B Entertainment. The production house is co-owned by actor Asif Raza Mir, who has now turned into a filmmaker and along with Javed even he keeps his interest in the direction of the series to put a good story in front of the audience. Javed has been honored with eight Lux Style Awards for his work as a director and producer. Recently in 2016, he was awarded his first ARY Film Award nomination for producing Manto a biopic in 2015.

With Pakistani TV Actor, things have happened in the reverse order – he made his debut in films and then migrated from films to TV serials, which surely goes against the normal trend. But keeping in tune with his penchant for adventure sports like scuba diving, flying and hunting, Asad is a self confessed “adventurer” and bold enough in whatever he does or comes across. Although not one to have originally thought about an acting career, nor having taken any initial formal training for it, he grabbed the opportunity, prompted by his impulsive nature, when the opportunity came his way, back in 1989. 

As mentioned, Asad Malik started his acting stint as a film actor in 1989, though none of the movies in which he featured could be referred to in any glowing terms, starting off with a horror movie entitled “Pamela”. As his film career really did not take off in any way that would have given him any encouragement, he turned his attention to drama, which still is considered the best art form in Pakistan to show case one’s acting talents. After a brief period of internship, Asad caught the eyes of discerning theater goers with his acting in the 1993 drama serial “Dasht”, shot in the backdrop of Balochistan with a woman centric theme, in the year 1993. 

That was a turning point in his career, and from then onwards Asad demonstrated his inherent talent as an actor to the theatre world at large. Side by side, with his name spreading as an actor, he took up modelling opportunities that came his way, side by side with his acting. He then went on to act in quite a few plays of that period, for the then sole TV channel - PTV. Some of these plays like the family drama “Janey Anjaney”, tale of brothers and sisters, “Aansoo” and the slightly controversial “Niqab” most of them penned by the legendary writer Haseena Moin and aired in early 2000 on PTV made Asad a front runner on Pakistani TV. 

Completing a series of fairly successful drama serials for PTV, Asad had also gone over to the private satellite channels when the opportunity came, featuring in “Dil Moti Ke Mole” for ATV, followed by two more for the same channel titled “Adhoori Film Ki Puri Kahani” and the other one called “Angoori”. “Larkiyan Mohallay Ki” followed with Hum TV as well as “Kaisi Yeh Deewangi”, also for Hum TV. His sole appearance for Geo TV at that time was “Buri Aurat”. His appearances ranged from social, romantic, family as well as slightly adult themes. With his success on the TV screen, Asad Malik had confided in several forums that he harbours no intentions to try his luck once again in films, and is quite confident about his future, describing himself as more of a self made man, rather than someone who has followed someone else’s footsteps or guidance in the growth of his career.

Sami Khan born on July 6, 1980 is a Pakistani actor and model. He has graduated from UET, Lahore. He began his career in the TV industry with the film “Salakhain” in 1998. He has enacted his roles in the movies brilliantly and thus got recognised in the Indian television industry as well. “Devar Bhabhi” was his Lollywood debut in 2013. He won the Tarang Houseful Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He also won the PTV Best Actor Award for the serial “Ghar Ki Khatir” in 2011.

 Sami Khan’s most famous daily soap opera is “Love, Life Aur Lahore”. It is a Pakistani television serial which airs on A-Plus channel. Khan plays the role of Pari Paiker who is in love with a Hindu girl. The story is about their love story. “Meri Ladli” is another of his opera which is a Pakistani romantic drama serial which began in 2012. Khan plays the role of Abdul Hadi. It is the story about a young woman, Aarfah who elopes with her beloved, Sajid. The serial revolves around the difficulties they face. Thus, Khan’s work has been recognised and he continues to charm the audience with his marvellous acting.
