Hina Khawaja Bayat is a renowned Pakistani TV actor who has been in the industry for over two decades. She was successful in bringing back a whole new wave of Pakistani dramas into the drawing room for the viewers to sit and watch. Her roles essayed the most beautiful and charming characters that people even stopped watching Indian TV series that was a part of Pakistan cable network.

Eshita Mehboob, born as Eshita Mehboob Syed in year 1985, is a Pakistani model and television actress. She is a pure Bengali and her parents were from Dacca, where she was also born. Her family moved to Pakistan when she was three years old, due to the nature of her father’s business. She was raised up in Karachi and studied at Saint Patrick’s High School for Girls and later graduated Bachelors in Psychology, Library Science and Islamic History in DHA College for Women. Eshita admits that she was never a good student as she always gets in trouble with her teachers for several reasons and one of it is the many piercings she has, which is not allowed on her school, but Eshita was fond on doing extracurricular activities like basketball, karate (she is a green-belter) and acting in school plays. 

Her first break was from the music video of the song Suno Ke Main Hun Jawan by the band called Noori, followed by the titular role in Geo TV’s telefilm entitled Babli Ghar Se Kyun Bhagi. After this, she started to receive several offers and casting calls, but she credits her success to her friend, photographer and stylish Akef Iiyas. Akef made her believe in her own talent and made her very first portfolio and photographs. Eshita got rebellious when during her teenage years and she said that this is because of the passing of her elder sister while giving birth. This caused her depression as she was not close to her parents. But her friends helped her in regaining the energy and the strength to stand up and move on with her life. Now, she is more confident with a positive outlook towards life. 

She got married to Ahmer Nawaz, a banker. They shared 11-years of boyfriend-girlfriend relationship before they finally decided to tie the knot. The actress believes that it is a mistaken belief that an actress will soon end her career after getting married; in fact, she feels that better projects came her way only after her marriage. Two of her favorite serials were Naija and Meri Jaan where she played a villain role. 

She also donned plays on Hum TV entitled Bazaar, where she played as an actress and another one, which is a Ramadan play. 

In between 2009 to 2010, she played as Naiza in the Pakistani comedy series Mannchalay. She was seen on Hum TV’s comedy drama Khatti Meethi Zindagi opposite Fahad Mustafa. Eshita is also part of the anthology series, Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain, which also aired on Hum TV and Sanjha from the same channel. In year 2012, Eshita played as Zaini in the Pakistani drama soap Aik Nayee Cinderella and Omar Dadi Aur Gharwalay on ARY Digital. She played as Samina in a popular Pakistani soap Mar Jain Bhi To Kya. Eshita played as a wife to Noor Hassan Rizvi’s character in the drama serial, Aseer Zadi in year 2013. She also appeared in the third season of Kis Din Mera Viah Hoeyga and in the fourth episode of the anthology series, Shareek-e-Hayat. Eshita’s other television appearances were from the serials Bharday Jholi, Kissey Apna Kahein, Mere Khuda and Dayar-e-Dil. 

This year, Eshita took part in the comedy road film, Karachi Se Lahore as Ayesha. This is the first ever Pakistani film to have its premiere in Hollywood. She played as Arzo in the Pakistani drama entitled Moor, which was released last August.

Maya Ali is a Pakistani actress, model and a video jockey. Her original name was Maryam Tanveer Ali, born on July 27th 1989 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. She currently resides in Karachi, Pakistan. She pursued her Master’s in mass communication course from Queen Mary College. The attractive Pakistani diva appeared in many TV serials and a few movies too which were originated in Pakistan. 

She started out her career as a video Jockey and later went ahead to be a model. She was a video Jockey at SAMAA TV and Dunya TV, which are leading Pakistani news channels. She reached public through video jockeying that helped her in attracting audiences when she became a model. She was first offered a supporting role in the TV serial “Durr-e-Shahwar” that aired on HUM TV. Later she was praised for her role in “Aik Nayee Cinderella” that aired on Geo TV. Her first role as the main lead was in the serial “Aun Zara” that aired on A-plus entertainment. 

She has a huge fan club and an official Facebook fan page with over 2 million likes. 

She has starred in various other TV serials like Khoya Khoya Chand, Meri Zindagi Hain Tu, Ranjish Hi Sahi, and Ladoon Mai Pali that aired on national Pakistani channels. She currently stars in a show called “Shanakht” that airs on HUM TV.

Previously known as Saba Pervaiz, Saba Hameed is the daughter of famous columnist Hameed Akhtar. She was born in Lahore on 21st of June 1957. For her siblings, Saba has one brother and three sisters. She did her studies in ‘Lahore College for Women University’. The colossal actress started her journey in the world of showbiz in 1980. She proved her talent in almost all the categories of acting, whether it was drama serials, sitcoms, long plays, TV shows or talk shows. Qavi Khan aka Mohammad Qavi Khan is a Pakistani movies and TV star, a radio artist and director as well. He was born on 13 Nov, 1932 in Lahore, Pakistan. He married in year 1968 and has four children all settled abroad but he didn’t leave his motherland. He started his career in 1960s at the age of five from Radio Pakistan and then after getting fame he shifted to PTC. He was one of the primary actors of PTV. He started his film actor journey in 1965 and has been part of 200 films. He did remarkable roles in movies such as Durr-e-Shehwar based on husband wife relationships and FBI Operation Pakistan based on military released in 1971.

Rehan Sheikh is a Pakistani actor, director, an exemplary screenwriter and producer hailing from Karachi, Sindh. He was born on January 01, 1979. Rehan got the passion for theater dramas during his college days. He was very enthusiastic, and so he joined a young and vibrant theater group of people in South London. He learned and experienced a lot of essential nuances of the art of acting in dramas. Later, in 1992, he worked for ‘Tamasha Theatre Company’s’ drama called as "Women of the dust.” It was directed by Kristine Landon-Smith and the cast and crew members including Rehan did a commendable job. Later, he went to Pakistan for a holiday and worked on his debut television serial named as “Aaghosh.” This serial captured great attention by audience because of his acting skills and talent.

Mukarram Kaleem is a Pakistani journalist, actor, and model. Mukarram spent his childhood in Karachi, Pakistan, and hails from the same city. He went to St. Patrick’s college in Karachi. After this, he went on to study Theatrical Direction and Mass Communication at the National Academy of Performing Arts situated in Karachi. Mukarram moved to Lahore and started his career as a writer for a children’s show Sab Bata Doon, airing on Geo News. He went on to become an assistant producer on Sama Television. Kaleem married his crush Ayesha Fatima in 2015. Mukarram loves traveling, hiking, and trekking. In 2012, Mukarram Kaleem auditioned for a role in a play that would represent Pakistan and was to be performed at Shakespeare Globe Theater, London, United Kingdom. He played the character of a seventy years old man.

Faizan Khawaja is a Pakistan television actor. He was born and raised up in Houston, Texas on January 7, 1986 to renowned producer Rashid Khawaja. To pursue his dream of becoming an actor, he went to India and studied acting, theatre and filmmaking at the Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. He is actually the first actor to study acting, theatre and filmmaking before making his debut in the industry. After this, he moved to Pakistan to become an actor. 

Faizan decided to move to Pakistan after the NTM channel was launched, since his father is associated with it. From Mumbai, he moved to Pakistan because he finds it hard to stay in the city after the Mumbai terror attack. He also learnt television production and one of his top priorities is to produce his own films. 

Faizan was applauded for his performance as Roman, one of the leads, in the Pakistani drama serial Aike Nayee Cinderella, which was aired on the Geo TV channel from year 2012 to 2013. He also played as Saqib on ARY Digital’s Meri Ladli and on Urdu 1’s Meri Saheli Meri Humjoli in the year 2012. Faizan was also praised for his performance on ARY Digital’s Aks in the same year. Aside from Cinderella, he also finds his performance in Parwaz-e-Junoon very challenging. In 2013, he played as Daniyal on Geo TV’s Mann Ke Moti. At the same time, he is also doing the drama serial Soha Aur Savera and Meri Maa on Geo TV. 

The actor said that his success was because of his father, who is also his mentor and closest friend, and has been his pillar of strength. After being trained in specialized acting by his other mentor Naseeruddin Shah and other prominent actors such as Ratna Phatak Shah, Kenneth Desai, Arvind Pandey, Randeep Udda, and Benjamin Gillani, he was set to enter Bollywood in a film that was tentatively titled as Bankster, which was helmed by Azaan Khan, the son of veteran actress Zeenat. 

This year, he also produced the first made-for-television film in Pakistan entitled, Life Story, which features Ainy Jafri, Sajid Hasanm Samina Ahmed, Zeba Bakhtiar and Faizan himself. The telefilm was helmed by Aamir Yousuf and produced under the banner of Fiz Productions. His father made a guest appearance in Life Story. 

The versatile actor also enjoys horse riding, swimming, martial arts and dance like hip-hop, Kathak and Bollywood. He is also fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi languages.

Osman Khalid Butt is known as Orlando Bloom of Pakistani TV industry. Born and bred in Islamabad, he is the son of Dr. Khalid Said Butt, a famous director and screenwriter. He is a man with a multifaceted personality and apart from acting, he is also an expert in the direction, journalism and writing.
