The harsh reality of life is sometimes too scary. One finds it hard to cope up with its repeated attacks. It drains the last set of hope that one holds. But when one manages to fight even in that situation, they become the strongest. This story focuses on the life of one such woman named Lalfafi. She is not gifted a normal life like others. Her father is a drunkard and is irresponsible of his duties as a father. His mother is suffering from a critical illness for a long. Now, the whole pressure of the situation is pushed onto her. She works to manage the family. But everywhere she goes, she's being illtreated by people around. They take advantage of her pathetic situation and pass vulgar comments on her. Despite the scary scenarios, she pushes herself to work hard to run her family smoothly. There's a shopkeeper in her neighbourhood named Chaman.

He is quite different from the rest of men. He has the heart to treat with respect. That warms up her heart. But Chaman has not much feelings towards her other than that. Lafafi's father gets arrested. It makes her feel disheartened. She wants to save her father. And so, she reaches Chaman for help who is the only place she can rely on as of now. But situations become tense. And they happen to involve themselves physically with each other once. She gets pregnant by the incident. But Chaman who is bound to take responsibility for his actions flies away to another place. Lafafi's parents finds out about this and forces her to marry a retarted person. She escapes them and reaches Chaman. She fights for her identity in his life which she's been denied. Despite all her miseries, she continues to fight. Anybody in this situation would give up on life. But she is so determined.
