He was born on January 20, 1975 in Patna, Bihar, India and graduated at the Hindu College, University of Delhi. He came to Mumbai in year 1999 since her sister is expecting a baby. He was busy during the day and got bored in the evenings so he asked his friend if he can join their theatre group. He started liking theatre so he decided to stay in Mumbai and took a Mass Communication course at St. Xavier’s. But the day of the interview in St. Xavier’s was the same day of his first audition on Star Bestsellers; he chose the audition.
