under his production house Maverick. The show was hosted by the actor and anchor Sameer Kochar. Khiladi No.1 is a game show for college students. Each team consists of students, both girls and boys, from one college.
In each episode, two such teams, i.e., two such colleges, compete to win. The show involves physical games, different ones in different episodes. Some of the games included are boxing, catching chickens, fighting in the mud, tug-of-war, and other similar physical activities. The first few episodes were qualifiers, the winners of which will go to the playoffs. Four teams in the semifinals compete with each other to go to the finals. The final winners were in for a huge sum of cash prize.
